Do you wear a helmet while riding your bike?

I don't wear helmet while riding a bike. In china, few people wear helmet when ride a bike. because the people in china is huge and many people ride bike. so many people on street and the speed is slow ,so no helmet is also ok. but if you ride motocar.you must wear helmet that's the rule. But I think everyone should wear a helmet while riding a bike that's a good habit. it make you safe. happy mylotting.

Hi srganesh, Wearing helmet is compulsory in some countries like U.S. Even in India,in my state,it was compulsory during different period of time. About a year back also,the government made it compulsory,but due to public's dissatisfaction,the govt. relaxed the rule. The reason for the dissatisfaction was , 1.Ladies can not wear because of long hair.2.The visibility is poor sideways 3.Can't hear the other vehicle's horn sound. Actually,whether it is compulsory or not,for your own protection you must wear. I always put on.If not for accident,at least to cover your face from the dust,heat and light. Happy My lotting

I use helmet when I'm riding in motorbike when I'm in Philippines, I use the one not cover my entire head because it is not hot... in that time I just learning to drive, but I think I always wanted to wear helmet when I riding in my motorbike, its avoid more damage when I got accident, because we can't avoid accident so for wearing helmet we avoid a severe damage, specially our head are sensitive part of our body...

Yup i use to wear helmet while driving because its really safety one...not only that now a days our patrol use to collect some amount if not wearing helmet thats major reason i use to wear helmet now a days..:)

Hey, am also in India and now a days it made strict to wear helmets if you want to ride a two wheeler. As far as I am concerned, it only a precautionary measure, helmets cannot protect you completely, but i would recommend that you wear one, it doesn't matter if you are riding slowly or going within city limits, priority must be to safety, but for that you must get quality helmets, as you mentioned, its not only the heat that is a concern, but also the quality. Wearing such low standard helmets that we get around here could only harm you in long run.

I have never worn a helmet in the past, but I have started to think it is a good idea. I don't ride much at all these days, but I plan to start back riding daily as soon as the weather permits. I am pretty sure I will buy a helmet when I start to ride again though.

Yes, I always wear my helmet. Growing up my parents always told me to wear it. I always saw them wearing it as well. I wear for my own safety, not to mention that it's become a habit, a good one, I think.

No I don't and I know it's bad. It's just that in my country we only wear those on racers. I have a GT and if any of you know what a GT is then you would know what I'm talking about. It would look so ridiculous. Besides I don't ride fast but it's still wrong. But you know peer pressure and stuff.

Its important while driving to wear helmet. It for our safety n m also used it while m riding bike. It less the chances of causality at time of accident

Yes , i ride a helmet when i ride a bike. Mine is a speed bike and i once fell off and got a bad scrape. There was too much blood and i almost fainted. Luckily, my friend was nearby and helped me get to the doctor in time. The doctor said that i was fortunate for if i didn't wear a helmet, i could have gotten severe brain damage added to my scrape.
