Do you stand up when your National Anthem is played in movie houses?

Imagine yourself in a movie house and then the national anthem played just before the movie start. Then you noticed some people still on their seats. Some people might think its no big deal. But i personally suggest to people doing that to change their attitudes. You got to love and respect your country. It's the only one you got. How would you feel?

National anthem is played at movie houses during the last full show. Of course I will stand otherwise I will be in jail. There is an existing law about it now that every time it will be played inside the theater people should stand or else they will be picked up and thrown to police headquarters. Yes, I already heard that in the national news that one of the moviegoer was picked up and brought to the nearest police station for not standing when the national anthem was played.

i usually watch movies in the form of vcds,as it is more cost effective.i rarely go to a movie house.whenever it is being played on vcds,i stand up as a mark of respect for my country.

I agree. I do not go to movie houses but I do attend the hockey games and here, in Canada, at a local hockey game, both the American and Canadian anthem is sung.
We do stand and remove our hats as well as sing along with the National Anthem.
I would never consider it less than a big deal and can not imagine how some people can stand but do not remove their hats.

i do stand up.. i think its the one way i could express my love for my country. its a small thing but it worth a lot.. this is something that we must be proud of..

I hardly go to cinema hall to watch films.I never went to the cinema hall to watch any such films related with country but it any such case takes place in the future I surely will stand up in respect to my country.

Hi yes I do stand up when national anthem is played in theater before movie starts. Its a must for every citizen to respect their country by respecting the national anthem. I too have noticed many people sitting as if they are not bothered about this but I felt really bad that they are not respecting the national anthem.
