What do you (or did you) collect? Stamps, matchbox labels, teddy bears, restaurant napkins, cheese labels, beer mats, cigarette cards, ... you name it! Do you know the proper name for your habit/hobby?I collect owls (models, pictures, pottery ... not real ones!)

They don't make actual "wikdlife" bars, they ,ake those thin dairy milks that are just called 99 calorie dairy milk which are actually the same as a wildlife bar except for the wrappin, the picture on the bar and the price!

No that's not quite the same owlwongs, the freddos were tiny 10p bars which were thicker than wildlife bars. Well, unless there was a different sort of Freddo before.

I start collections and then get bored. I've got a few owls, a few mice, made of coal, a few birds and lots of crocodiles, but I've run out of space. The only things I've never stopped collecting since I was very young is books but I'm not allowed to buy anymore until I get rid of some.

I've collected a lot of friends here on mylot for which I'm very thankful. I collect books and presidential items. I also recently started to collect decorative eggs. I really like the Russian Doll eggs, but I have others, too. And I have a whole cutglass bowl full of Pysanki eggs that I haven't been able to find since we moved.

From the song by Alabama?
"Oh I believe there are angels among us.
Sent down to us from somewhere up above.
They come to you and me in our darkest hours.
To show us how to live, to teach us how to give.
To guide us with a light of love."

I hope that MyLot will help you! Maybe that's a very good thing to do with your earnings here :)

I am a collector of spoons, antique buttons, Royal Daulton figurines, music boxes, little boxes, nutrition books, and my biggest collection and one I love is vintage postcards from the Golden Era c1900-1930's. I have sold a few, but find them so beautiful to let go of. None are of owls, however.
Thanks for asking.

Thank you. You are obviously an avid collector! I used to collect books (on Folk Music and traditional customs and folklore) but I found that selling them was impossible and storing them became a problem, so I sympathise with your inability to sell!
