there are many big,strong,fast and brave animals!..
like tiger, gorilla, elephant also Lion and others!..
why the Lion is king?..

Lion is named as the King not by his appearance I think. It is for his fierece characteristic, quick reaction, violent and greedy exploration that make his the King of animal.

i agree with mokbul. Human define lion as the king. i really have no idea about the reason. Moreover, tiger usually livs in forest while lion on grasslands. So it is not very fair to compare them. Tiger has also been called the king of forest for a long time.

i think it is because the lion is the greatest animal in the world.

LION king of the forest, because it can eat or kill pretty much anything. And also it is the top of the food chain. Few animals will dare to challenge a lion, even in periods of extreme hunger. They normally hunt at daybreak or at nightfall. Their diet consist of mostly Antelope,Zebra and other Herbivorous animals are in their diet too. A female lion called as lioness.
Watch the movie LION KING you will never ask the question like this.
