I am planning a super quiet Christmas as I have been going a lot lately and want to spend sometime with myself. it's easy for me to spend Christmas alone since it's not a family gathering festival here and we have a couple days off. So what about you? Are you going to spend Christmas alone?

I hope you will have a very relaxing Christmas vacation. I am married and have a child. So I am unable to have a quiet time everyday:) Perhaps we will have a dinner outside and then go to the department stores to see the Christmas tree. There is not a specific plan for it yet.
I love China

I don't have a plan, just plan to do some studies, work on my projects and relax. It seems that I got more things to do at home than at work *laughs*.

You gave me pause to think about what "alone" really means. I have never felt alone, even when I am by myself, which admittedly is a rare occurance. But truly, in this world of connectedness, who is really alone? You go to the remotest village in some off beat corner of the world and there are teenagers with cell phones. The internet is everywhere.
To me, alone is being in complete darkness up in a mountain at least 10 miles from the nearest other person with no electricity, maybe, but then you look up and see a blanket of twinkling stars and in a second realize there is life everywhere and in no way are we alone.
Ah, but I know what you mean, and yes, hubby and I (as we work and play together as a unit) hope to spend Christmas quietly at home...alone...sort of.

Alone can also be a feeling. Some people do feel "alone/ lonely" even when many people are around. *smiles*
