Hey you.........
A good ol-ham dinner would be on my menu!,with all the fixin's.
I plan on staying home with family. We live in Washington state and are kinda snowed in this year, so it will be a very cozy winter. We still have to build a bunch of snowmen so we can see them from our big picture window from the living room. Doesn't that sound really good?
What are your plans, and what would be on your menu?
Happy Holidays! ~Peace~
Marilyn

Good ol-ham....yummy. Sure that will be there for breakfast. Not lunch. I have not planned the menu for lunch but plan to spend the day at home with the kids. Will make one dish each of their liking and then decide what else to add to it. The weather is quite warm here inspite of it being Christmas Week. Am, planning to go to an orphanage this weekend to celebrate Christmas with the kids there.

Merry Chirstmas to you too and thanks for extending your wishes to us. If I happen to join you for dinner on that day, I'll not ask for any special Menu, it is YOU, who is to decide the Menu and hopefully, you will decide a sumptuous dinner for us.

Any food item, which you are going to prepare with your dexterous hands will do either vegetarian or non-vegetarian. In Vegetarian, it may be 'Shahi-Paneer' or 'Kadai Paneer' and 'spicy dry potatoes' and in Non vegetarian section it could be 'roasted or fried fish' and 'prawns'. I prefer 'fish' in non vegetarian section, rather than chicken or mutton.

Fish is a tough choice because it is not easy to get good fresh fish everyday. And tomorrow being a Thursday there are lesser fisher women in the market to sell the fish. But I happened to have ordered prawns tomorrow. I have told one fisherwomen to have it delivered to my house tomorrow morning. So you are welcome to join us for lunch.

I thought you would mention some of your favourite foods. Anyway what do you prefer...veg or non veg food. My son likes vegetarian and my daughter likes non vegetarian food. So on special occasions I have to make both to please both of them. And I always like cooking the guests choice instead of the hosts choice.

Hi Cupid,
How can I not celebrate good occasions with all of you. You have a special invitation from me for Christmas and New Year. Will try and cook your favourite food if you tell me what you like. You can bring your family and friends along too if you do not want to come alone.
Thanks a lot for the wishes.

The vegetarian dishes you have chosen are indeed yummy though very tiring to cook. But would not mind taking the trouble for you. And the meat available in my area is only halal. So you do not have to worry about that. You are welcome home tomorrow for lunch. Will have all your choice of food ready.

I am hosting Christmas lunch this year and the menu consists of home made ravioli, rice salad, Russian salad, arancini, roast pork and turkey roast potatoes and roast vegetables, plum pudding and cream and Bavarian cream. Sounds yummi doesn't it? Now I can own up to the fact that my mother who is a brilliant cook is bringing the ravioli, the salads, the arancini and the bavarian cream. All I or should I say my husband is responsible for is the roasts; he will cook those with his Weber cooker. All I'll have to is make some gravy and cook some peas, so, yes I think I will have a lovely day, did I mention my sister is an expert at making Margaritas? Oh yes I am thoroughly looking forward to it. Merry Christmas to you too and may the New Year bring you great things.

I had a great plan for this Christmas and New Year, but, at the last moment, I fell sick and I am not able to go out from my house. I am just simply sitting in my home and doing my regular work. I was affected my mums, for which doctor adviced me not to go out, he restricted me to attend the Christmas Service......

Christmas day I'll be going to church for the Christmas Day service. As far as dinner goes, I don't have a clue. Right now, I don't have any special plans for New Years.

I don't have any special plans for these holidays, I'm just gonna stay at home with my family. We wanted to go somewhere for New Year, but we didn't make reservations in time and now we can't find anything available :)
The menu... Ahh well I don't know exactly, my mom cooks all the time... but probably the regular Christmas stuff... pork meat, meat jelly, sausage, forc-meat rolls in cabbage... all meat related. And since I'm not a fan of meat, I rarely eat it, I love Christmas only for the sweets... :)
And for New Year, there's the traditional cheese pie with notes inside.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, too! :)

For xmas I'm going to Kyoto with me wife. We figured maybe it's the best time when all the places are not so crowded as usual. And as for new year, we're just gonna hang out with my wife's family, drink rivers of sake, and try to survive until we get back to work :) The usual stuff :D
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too
