may not be. tennis has been producing new stars from time to time. now its nadal, but who knows a superstar for no.1 contendership may rise. and also now, many stars are behind him including Fedex. it all depends upon fitness and he as a star should maintain well. fedex may bounce back strongly in the next season as he is a very best player. but being no.1 till retirement is something great and being at no.1 position, one may not retire.

no i dont think so nadal will be number one till he retires as he is just the master on one surface that is clay he is very good on other surfaces as well but nothing compared to his brilliance on clay and i dont think you can hope to be number one for long if you just play well on one type of courts i think he needs to improve his play on hard courts to be the number 1 for long long time else i feel guys like djokovic, murray and even federrer if he gets going next will be able to dethrone him from the top spot.

No way that he would be number 1 all the time until he retires. There are always new player that pops up every year that is younger and faster. And there could be an off year even from the best of players. Not to mention injuries, this could be a factor in ranking. Only when he retires that we could assess if he could pull off a feat like being number one all the time. If he retires now maybe you could say he is number 1 till he retires.

I doubt..If he doesn't retire prematurely.u see nobody can defy age & play in his top form for ever. When federer was playing at his top form,i thought nobody in thsi world can replace him from his no.1 position. But with time his game has deteriorated & now u see he has slipped below. The same will happen to rafa someday in future. Still i agree he is a great & dedicated player. But pit sampras will always remain as my favourite...he was a genius. Happy mylotting.

I do believe that he deserves the top spot as the way he is been playing for the last couple of months. He has shocked Federrer several times and has shown that he can defeat any opponent on any type of ground.Whether its clay court or grass court,he is the best.
If he goes on playing like this how he is playing now, I dont have any doubts that he would stay as the number 1 seed till he retires.

Well, it is really tough to predict whether Rafael Nadal would be always the number one tennis player till Nadal retires............ There will be new players coming on to the tennis arena after a couple of years............ And they will be challenging Nadal........
Most of the tennis fans had previously predicted that Roger Federer would always be the number one till he retires........ Likely, the tennis fans had predicted the same statement in case of Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, etc during their times........ But when they all retired, they were not the number one...........
So, in this competitive world, it would be really difficult for Rafael Nadal to be the number one tennis player throughout his tennis career.......... And I think, Rafael Nadal will not be the number one tennis player when he retires.........
HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY MYLOTTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, i think other new and improved players that are mcuh younger than nadal can be No.1. I really wish Federer can climb back up to the top. Federer has elegance, charisma, and also a good personality. His slice is the best out of all tennis players and his serve is amazing. If you go on youtube and type federer serve, you can see his many twist, kick , and other unbelievable trick serves.
