Do you feel that the topic on the my lot is boring and repeating?

I don't think so though. As you know, it is impossible that the discussion won't get repeated. People can't read all the discussions. So, it is reasonable for them to start a similar one. Acutally, they don't know that.

Yes, it does happen on some days. I feel all the discussions are either repeated or I have answered then at some time. There’s nothing new and inspiring. On those days, my response count is very low.

There are really times that discussions are getting uninteresting especially when the discussions are very shallow topic or that has been posted similar to the previous discussions. But, what I do is respond to it for the sake of the earnings and to add my number of posts regardless of being bored with the topic or discussion... We cannot control people to have similar topics to post because that is what interests them. But, if you want something new, then why not start something unique....Or respond to blogs or those "no responses" discussion. Perhaps, that would add a challenge on your part.

Hi there garfield_zhou! I do agree with you a hundred percent! I have been coming across a lot of discussions that are dull and boring. There are a lot of discussions that are not really worth the time reading and responding to. I think that we can't really control this and yeah, they are increasing day by day. A lot of topics are similar and there is also nothing we can do about this considering our population here on myLot. There is really no way we can control members posting topics that are similar to old ones here.

Yes I find that most topics on mylot are very dull and boring. They are like the same topics over and over again and a lot of the stupid topics get like over fifty responses for some reason. It's hard to try and stay on this website when all of the discussions are basically repeats. It's sad that we all need money this bad isn't it.

People have different interests,and mylotters are from all parts of the world,we have different culture background,different interests,and different level of the ability of writing english.For me ,it's a little hard to talk about your topic like "Simens bribery".Simple topics are not insignificant,but easy to be accepted by all persons.Anyway there are so many mylotters,I'm sure you will find topics you like.

In some respects myLot is no different to any other forum with regard to the discussions which are started. There are only so many things that people can talk about or discuss, if we are not to violate the rules and TOS. Part of the reason why some discussions appear to be very similar is simply because there are just so many new discussions being started all the time. Members have no way of keeping up with them so what might be missed by you or I the first 4 times, we might actually see it and respond on the 5th occassion. The other thing to bear in mind is that members are from many different countries and have many different interests. For example I am not at all interested in who is the best Bollywood actor or actress, so I just ignore those ones. At the same time there is a certain element of the members who are interested so that is why those discussions get started. It can be any topic at all the same situation occurs. Also we have to be careful not to cause offence to others and certainly there have been a number of discussions which were not at all friendly in the responses. The ones I am thinking about are politics and religion, both of which seem to bring out the "worst" in some people. All I can suggest is that if there is something particular that you want to discuss, then you start one on that topic. You have mentioned the Siemens bribery scandal in your discussion. Have you started a discussion on that particlar topic yet? If not, why not do so and see what response you get from the members. Just my idle thoughts on the subject. If we are not happy with the discussions available, then we are the ones who need to start some that might appeal to other members. Good luck in the future finding some interesting topics to discuss.

i enjoy mylot alot but some of the discussions people start are silly & boring.

that is ture,but it is hard to stop repeating, mylot has try his hard to stop this things.besiges most of us care about the money,right?
