Do You Think Mylot is Difficult to Understand???

Your first discussion gave you 6 responses and you push on. When I was a newbie there were persons such as Mooch who always see to it that a Newbie receive a response and she will also take time out to explain to you how to make it here in MYLOT. Since these persons leave there is no one who will go to the newbie and explain to them that four lines and more will give you some compensation. Newbies are not readily welcome here in MYLOT and this is the truth. If you see a newbie receive more than 5 responses is because he/she was referred and the person who refer this person see to it that his/her friends go and give support. There are groups here in MYLOT and if you are not apart of their group they will not come to your discussion. With what had happen in the previous months persons are being careful. My advise to the newbies is that if he/she wants to reach payout don't start by writing discussion. Select interests and go to them and respond to discussions in those interest. Let yourself be know and then you will get responses when you begin to write. Also respond back to persons who take time to leave a message in your discussion persons are getting turn off when they see a discussion with 10 responses and no one is there answering back. Mylot is not hard but it takes time, diligent and sacrifices to be successful here.

i was also slow to start in mylot. but later i understood the rules and ways to get good money from here. i think mylot is lot easy than many other sites. most of the newbies will have the problem , it is natural. but the problem is when they don't learn from mistakes and in the last leave this site. i too have seen many saying that they have not reached payout for a long time. how come i was too slow to begin still i reached payout within about 2 months. and i am sure that i will reach my payout in every month from this month.

I've never found MyLot difficult to understand. You just take part in discussions, nothing could be simpler. It's true that I don't reach payout every month, but that's only because I'm not as active as I could be, so no complaints there. Unlike a lot of paying sites, you do pretty much have control over your earnings.

Hi there I never found MyLot difficult,it just has it's own rules for earning and payout which make sense. I think what newbies expect is a clear calculated earning system,like on ReviewStream(well,that's in the past)-write a post,make 2 bucks! I myself had to go thru guidelines a couple of days ago since I was absent for 6 months and wanted to refresh them. As to people taking years to reach their 1st payout-well,they probably don't post enough discussions or,as you said,post a single line. Or maybe they're busy and cannot contribute that much. I'm sure you'll have some explanation soon,I'll check back:)

Exactly you are right. I had seen many responses with a single line or two. NOt only the responses, but also the discussions. and I had seen many peoples complaining about they don't get many responses. I had watched some poeple discussion, which are with one line or no use discussion. Only those people are not getting too many responses. I tell for newbies, respond with care and start a quality discussion, you will get paid......

Hey there vidhyavini! As a newbie, I don't think myLot is difficult to understand. It is rooted from several seeds: 1) myLot provided clear guidelines. For me, the guideline is clear enough. The Dont's and Do's in a way, can help us (at least me..) to understand how myLot operate basically. 2) Discussions.. There are many discussions that I come across discussing on how to use myLot, how this happen, what are this and so on. Friendly people who responded on the discussions tried their best to explain to the discussion starter (it always be a newbie..hehe.) on the related issue. So, at least there are people who had explained about myLot. 3) myFather..Haha.. My father had joined several months ago, and become active lately. He understand more and he always reminds me on the Dont's and Do's..Beside, he also told me about myLot and all the neseccary things. Have a nice day! :)

No ididnt find it difficult to use this site,since i have already seen my father using this site for more than a year and then i got acquited in this site and then i joined over here and most of my doubts were cleared by my father and other doubts which i had were cleared by the fellow mylotters over here and i was really comfartable handling this site and i really love this site...happy mylotting...

Hi There! When I first join mylot, I find it easy to use actually. It’s main purpose is for you to create your own discussions or respond to mylotters discussions/threads. However, it is really hard not being able to copy and paste in mylot when I was a noob because I need to reach 500 posts to be able to do that… but it’s all good. Earnings? Well, yeah, it is slow. Mylot doesn’t really focus on earning a lot… I guess, it focuses more on people; On how they can establish an online community on where people could share their thoughts and feelings. It’s really cool to earn something from your discussion or replies though. For me, I really enjoy mylot while earning a little for myself. Happy Mylotting and Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

When i am still new in this site i find mylot as very interesting site and very simple to understand. But since i dont read FAQ before, many responses to my discussion is being deleted for it is a one liner . Now i thried to make at least two line or more in responding a discussion. I just hope that i read it before posting here so i will know the rules.

Hello There my friend! This is a good topic. Anyway, When I was new in mylot, I also had several questions on how it works and how to increase our earnings from this site. Well, I think new members question that because the TOS are not that very specific. In fact, it is forbidden to scrutinize how our earnings are calculated. It is not that difficult to understand mylot. It is just that some people want to have a better and easier way here. Happy Holidays!

I'm fairly new to this site, haven't been posting a lot. This is partly because I am quite busy with studying and real life activities, but partly also because I wanted to figure out how it worked (well, not technically), get to know the rules, popular topics, categories, traditions and so on. If I'm new somewhere, I always tend to observe quietly for some time. Of course, people who want to earn quick money, will try to post as much as possible and as quickly as possible, resulting in short, bad posts and low pay. Result: those who want quick money complain and/or leave.

For a newcomer yes it maybe.I had come to this site through surfing as a paying site.Initially just coudnt understand what to do.I was about to leave the site but good sense prevailed and explored the site.Went through discussions on credibility of myLot,came across few people who are here since 3 years,so got convinced that there's something in this site.Got a lot of help from fellow mylotters and now have a fair amount of idea whats the site all about.am enjoying every moment here.The best part you get money by doing meaningful things,and in the process enhancing your knowledge and sharing your knowledge.

If you can make well in mylot,you can reach first payout soon.If you share your good things in mylot everyday,you can reach payout soon.It is not difficult to understand.How much have you paid by mylot?

For English is not my native language, so the site is a little difficult for me. I come here because one it can help me to practice my English and the other I heard that it can pay me some money, so I am coming. Still I try to learn how to use mylot, now I find it is very interesting. Now everyday if I have free time I will come to mylot, read some and response some, so interesting.

There is no question of taking mylot as a difficult site to understand. I just enjoy my discussions, rather than concentrating on the pay out every month, I know that if I am not able to make a pay out in a particular month, the amount will get accumulated and I'll be paid the very next month. It is for mylot people to make the calculation for our earnings, it largely depends upon them, how do they grant us cents for our responses.

Nopes, actually, Mylot is quite simple. I guess newcomers wouldn't understand the 'star' concept here, which makes no sense anyway. LOL!! But it is quite easy to understand and use Mylot. Now, who has problems? Hehehe...those finding it difficult to reach payout and just not putting in enough efforts. I took a long time too, but I was not even logging in at that time, I was too busy. its not exactly difficult to understand. but im not saying that its totally easy either. it just takes time for us to get used to it..also there are some rules that most members are not aware of or even if they have read about it, they probably didnt digest its meaning thoroughly or may have forgotten about it. im not an exception though. but its nice here in mylot. sharing our interests through discussions and voicing out our opinions while earning at the same time..wow! :)

Most of new members complain of low earning, they should understand the tricks from the experienced and successful members and work accordingly. If they start discussion and respond in a single line then how their earning increases and i too don't think it impossible to earn minimum payout in a single month although i have not succeeded in doing so due to lack of time to mylot, but if we work according to the rules and guidelines and most important enjoying mylot then surely it is not difficult to do it every month. I love myloting and it is great place where spend most of time while surfing net.

Hi vidhyavini, i joined here in mid december. At first I did nto found it difficult. But as i tried to improve quality of posts, added tags, added images with discussions, i see the earnings in mylot is constantly falling. i cannot understand the reason. even the number on my star has got lowered. Can u help in the matter? why is it happening? Happy mylotting..
