Why is there a separate page for submitting tags?

Is anyone else out there wondering why myLot doesn't change things so we can enter tags on the same page as out posts, so that we only have to click submit once. I for one think that this would be a great change.
For example, right now I am typing this. When I'm done I will click "start discussion". That is going to bring to a page that makes me either submit tags, or skip. I will have to then type, "mylot, tags, question". In my view, this is certainly an unnecessary step.
I know it may seem like a small thing, but I am really starting to notice it more as the time goes on. And I would certainly rather just type my post, hit tab to then type a couple tags (or not), and click on submit only once.
Does anyone else out there agree. Is there any point to having to submit tags on the following page?

I absolutely agree. If they change it to the same page it would speed things up a lot.

Ooh, yeah, I forgot about the interest thing. That happens less to me less because I usually am responding to discussions of which I am a member, but I like the idea. The photo thing too, I think it could be arranges so that it uploads without going to another page. If you can upload a video to Youtube without changing the page, it can't be that hard to be able to upload a picture.

For that matter, why not put "do you want to add this interest" on the same page too?

Do I ever agree! Absolutely. The other thing is the tags others have already applied should be visible so that we don't duplicate effort. I think the way it is now discourages people from thinking about the tags or using them at all. So it is self-defeating.

I'm not sure why there is a separate page for submitting tags I think it's only purpose really is too slow you down while you're trying to earn some more cents. It's more of a hassle and my computer usually takes forever to get past that page. When I first started on this website I used to leave tags on my responses and my discussions and what not but now I know that it's futile because I don't think it gives you anything for tagging stuff. So no I don't think there is any point to having the submit tags page.

I totally agree. I hardly ever add tags to discussions because of the added time. I also think that they have already been submitted by other readers.
I think that I would be more likely to take the step of adding tags if it were on one single page. As you said, you would only have to hit submit once and then you could move on to the next discussion. I do not think that it would be difficult for mylot to change that. Maybe they will sometime in the future.

From the responses to this discussion, it looks like the majority of people agree with us. It would be nice if they could change it so we could do all of the things in one go, and it would be nice if they could change things so that we can do that soon..

Well, I don't have any problem with it. But if it is on the same page then it would be really helpful. Why don't you make this suggestion to the mylot itself. Try it out, wait what happens. Might be possible that mylot has also noticed it, but there is no other option for it.
Hope to read your reply soon.
Thanks

I believe the reason why they do it this way is because you have the choice to opt out of adding a tag

I agree with the poster in response #3, I believe this is to eliminate the ability to use a program to create discussions while you are not personally here. It would be simple enough to write a program that took questions from another site and re-wrote them here for discussion. Also, in order to make a change like that here at mylot, the code would have to rewritten, which would be time consuming.

I wouldn't be able to write such a program, but it seems to be that anyone who would be able to write one would be able to handle multiple pages. It also seems like it wouldn't be that hard for mylot to see what was happening before that user reached payout and ban the user and block the IP address.

yes, i am aslo atrange to it.But i think it is reasonable to set this in the folowing page to mylot.Because mylot must have done a lot of research on this.so i think it is good and convenient to most of mylotters.
take it easy and post more response.
good luck
