best gift to my father 51st birthday

what i want to do for my hubby next year (his birthday is in february) is get 365 slips of paper and write on each one of them special things we have done together and things about him i love, stuff like that...you could do something like that also. you then get a tin or a glass jar, decorate it and this way, he can read one each day and really know how special you think he is.

I suggest for something special that he can treasure and look by on is a photo alblum of you. If you can get together all of the pictures of you and your father together that were taken from birth to present, I think he would enjoy such a gift. Since you do not have much money to spend, why not get a really nice photo alblum, gather all of your pictures, write captions for them and give it to your father. I know, when my brother turned 30, I did not have much money, and I framed a picture I had of him when he was five years, he really loved it. Gifts do not always have to be commercial items bought from the store, use some imagination and you will come up with something that he will cherish for a long time. Happy birthday to your Dad

What is he interested in maybe golf or cricket maybe you could give him one of those days out.A bit of Jewellery or chain .Ornament or figurine something he can display on a corner unit or sideboard,hope this helps the action day would be good fun,that would be my choice and a nice photo,my kids sent me to london to see a show and we stayed in a nice hotel all night.It was a great fiftieth.
