i am so mad! my dog was run over by my neighbor!

he did not even stop to see what happened!!!...my brother left the gate open when he left...my one year old minniature pinscher ran out so fast, my son went after her but the car was just going too fast...whoever was driving did not even have the decency to stop and see what he hit...how can people be so cruel! in my country, there is no law for animal cruelty...i wish there was and that death penalty would be the sentence! i just feel so bad..now the vet said that i better set my expectations, since in cases like this, the dog might not survive...either she dies or will become paralyzed...i just cant stop crying...they gave her pain relievers but i just keep praying she makes it or least hope she doesn't suffer much....pls i really pray for justice! it's almost christmas and i cant bear to see my kids and entire family grieving over her...

I'm really sorry about your dog. If this was my dog that was involved, I'd be mad too. I'd be furious about the whole situation! You have every right to be mad, in my opinion. I can't believe that some people can be so cruel as to not even stop to see what happened.

my sentiments exactly...we are actually going to talk to our subdivision's board of directors, not to go against my so called neighbor, but to ask them to send out flyers about animal cruelty awareness or something like that...thanks for your response and have a good one!

I can't believe they didn't stop! I hate this has happened. Especially this close to the holidays. I would be devastated to if something like that happened to my dog. Things like this just happen so fast it's done before you can stop it. I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry Cookie,
My heart goes out to you. I lost my mini dachshund due to poisoning on Sept.3rd this year and itstill hurts. I don't know where you live but animal cruelty should be punished everywhere. I hope that your little one made it through without any long term problems. And if she didn't make it I pray she didn't suffer too much. I hope this person pays for their crime. I'll pray for your little one and for you and your family. The tears are hard to hold. God bless you.

Oh Leenie thanks so much for your message! I started crying again...I know in my heart that whoever did this to my baby will eventually pay for it, or maybe he already has. I am from Manila and animal cruelty is not important here it makes my heart bleed! My little Vodka actually made it, but she's become temporarily paralyzed. She drags herself to get around. But the vet is hopeful that she'll get better in time. We are all hoping she recovers very soon. I appreciate your prayers. And I'm sorry that you lost your baby too.

My dog was hit by a car and its my neighbor's driver who hit it. I felt bad because he didn't say sorry or even bother to come see us. I was crying too.It's so sad that my dog is so precious to us.
