did u hear about the recent news about the cable cut in oceans and which cud led to massive breakdown in terms of internet traffic and internet speed
which will surely affect the day to day life of all of us

unfortunately..problems like these are unavoidable..i experienced this kind of problem when an earthquake damaged our internet provider's ocean cables and also recently this year when a ship anchor dropped down on the cable..the connection was so slow that it took minutes to load websites with heavy content,makes you disinterested..there are more advanced technology other than cables but they are expensive and cables are more durable..

I'm experiencing it, and it's truly hell. From an average connection speed of 1.6MBps I've dropped down to 512KBps (and even then I get 5kb/s dl rate on Firefox). Still, it's better than the last few days, Friday I couldn't connect at all. I can barely play Halo 3 online anymore, but besides that most of the internet is performing well enough to not go beyond my level of patience.
