Well I really love to guide some newbies, specially to make money from internet, but sometime, you are too lazy to make a blog or write something, for me, blog is really important to promote your referral links. I haven't use mylot for over than 3 years, and I didn't know that I can't put any links on the discussion. Well, but here not to promoting my ref links, I just miss mylot community, its really a lonely holiday...
So back to the topic, well after 3 years vacuum from mylot, I've been studying to earn money from different ways, websites, banner ads, adsense and blogs. Well actually im really a lazy person, I prefer to "build and leave" which means that I build a website and then leave it when its done, but it still makes money. In that way, now I can make a tutorial in my blog, and even to hangout in forum discussion like mylot. So if you want to know how I make money from blog, just take a look at my profile :D

Hello insomni4k,
Thanks in advance, I went to your site, and it is very well structured and clean. However knowing you can earn and earning itself might not be as easy. I have a blog (could also be found under my profile.) however my traffic is pathetically low, os how can I benefit from this then.
Any advice?

I already visit your blog, I could see that you have a good blog there, there is lot of way to increase your traffic, just start from easy steps like blog commenting, social bookmarking like digg and stumble etc, and SEO. I see that you are using wordpress for your blog, and the links to the post is not Search engine friendly.

you can see your post the extension is /?p=(post number)
you can go to settings --- find permalinks tab
and set with custom structure with /%category%/%postname%/

uhmm its kinda hard, you know, There is unlimited ways to earn money from internet. Even with blog too, can you give some specific part from it?

so you mean to say insomni that, it is much easier to earn money by blogging rather than by mylotting. if that is the case wherein even if i would be absent i will still be earning, then blogging is most suitable for me over doing mylot. in my present situation, i can no longer be doing mylot for straight periods as i will be attending to our farm from time to time. i would like to try this blogging thing. yes, i will take a look at your profile to have a go at this one, too. i will never forget though that i am doing mylot not for the money foremost, but for the fun that i am getting out of doing it. but then, if i can keep on earning while being away, that is indeed a great come on. and i am falling for it right now. hmmmm...that is a brilliant thing to take hold of.

well like it says, mylot is a place for discussion, I have to admit that im using mylot only to get new community and discuss with $$$ as bonus. Blog could also help you to get mylot referral.

Hmm..to optimize a keyword to get into top 10 of search result in search engine is really hard..to make money online through blog is not difficult but not that easy too..I have a few blogs (3blogs) too and I did try to get into top 10..I spent about 6months time to optimize it but at last I get it..top 10 of "Make Money Blogging"..=)
Btw, other than blog commenting and social bookmarking, blog directory do you any other method to promote our blog? I would like to listen your opinion..=)

I think i managed it in one month to get a top ten ranking for my "guide for myLot".
I don't know how but it worked out very good, i just have around 140 visitors since 20 days, not much but in the search engines the page is at a good place.
Can someone explain this, perhaps someone with experience in SEO?
