have you been denied social security disability

I had a blood clot in my leg and due to a bad surgery my toes curl under making it painful to walk now my left knee is going due to overcompensating the right foot. I have been for the SSD physical and they had me go for a mental evaluation. I got the letter in the mail a few days ago saying I have been turned down and the Dr. sees no reason that I can not return to my previous job as a waitress! I am on crutches. got any feedback on this?

Everyone i know who has applied for social security has been denied the first time, the key is to get a ss lawyer within the next 60days to file an appeal on your behalf and make sure you give him access to your doctors records and whatever you do don't let them start a new claim on you the first day you applied is the date your benefits will start from ss lawyer can only take a set percentage after you are rewarded your monies.
