Busters Domain (outdoors)

I just had to share this photo. It is of my beagles house. Buster loves the snow but seems he hasn't gone inside his house since the snow started falling this year. You can see the blanket he has inside the house as well. He usually rins inside it during rainstporms and snow. But I guess the woinds drifted the snow into the opening and inside as well. Once it warms up I'll clear it out and wash hjis blanket too. I think next year I may add some lights to it for the Holidays. I think that would look awesome. Does your dog have a house outside at all?

yes, a dog would live in a house filled with snow. it is much too cold. when this happens, no blanket will be good enough to make the house warm enough to sleep in.

I did nt blow the snow inside it.
The strong winds the past few days have.
Lights would be an awesome addition I think.
Maybe a sign with his name also.

It looks like Buster need to borrow your snow blower to clean his house out.
I don't blame Buster I wouldn't go in there either I would wait until spring before I went in there again. I bet he wouldn't even go in there and look for bone his bone now. Buster wants to be in the big house where it is warm and cozy, and watch the present under the Christmas tree.

It's gping to be in the 20's all week now. So I am going to get his blanket out, remove the straw, then wash his blanket to replace it in the house. Buster syas,

No, but I want to get her one so she can stay outside, maybe all the time..She is just too much and too young to be cooped up with us all the time..

Hi GRANDPA BOB,
At least Buster is nice and warm indoors and it would look very pretty when you put the lights in next year for Buster.

You should but a flap door on it and maybe will stay dry. I no longer have a dog. But I did have a dog when I was little named Buster as well. My other dog only went out to use the bathroom and back in. As I didn't want her outside I wanted her inside to keep people outside that didn't need inside. And she was really good at that.
Now she is gone and I do miss her

I don't have a dog Grandpa Bob. I have a daughter and that's pretty similar at times I suspect! Right now she's back from Uni, using the phone and about to eat breakfast at lunchtime. Send Buster over please. perhaps HE will be able to get the lazy little tyke out of her pit!

LOL, oh I think Buster is very smart. i bet he thinks your crazy if you think he is going in there, he'd rather be in the nice warm house. My dogs are housedogs. When I put them outside they never use their house. One day I happen to walk by their house and noticed that there was a dof in it..took me by surprise because my dogs NEVER go in their house. Well it wasnt my dog, it was a stray probally just stopping by for a break because after that i never saw it again. So now I call it the doggie hotel. LOL Lights on Busters house would be really neat! He would be stylin! LOL
