i'm finally back

not sure if all my friends are still here or not but i'm finally back after a bout a year. i've been working 7 days a week and went back to college so i've been so busy. but now i have a few weeks off and hope to chat with you all again. hope everyone is doing well, glad to be back

I too have taken time away from myLot. While preparing to make a major move last March, I lost my father suddenly and unexpectedly. (He and Mom were going to sell and move to the same city that hubby and I were moving to). I packed and sold our home, packed Mom's things (her house has yet to sell) and we moved 3 hours north. I have found her an assisted living home and hubby and I have new jobs. My job is still in nursing education, but more of an administrative role for me, so thare has been a lot to learn. I am off for Christmas break and decided to check in to myLot today! Glad you got to go back to school! As an educator, I really value education and encourage everyone to try to get as much education as they possibly can! How is that adorable daughter of yours?

sorry to hear about your father. is your mother handling everything ok. i've also had a rough year. 3 of my relatives passed away this year during a one month period. one of them i was really close to. then i just went to disney world a couple weeks ago. when i came back i got a call from my grandfather that my grandmother was in the hospital in intensive care. she had surgery for cancer and didn't tell anyone. a bunch of the family were away on vacation and she didn't want us to cancel our trips so she didn't tell anyone about her surgery. anyway she's doing better now. she's finally back home.
kierrah is doing really good. she got an amazing report card for first semester at her school. no problems at all this year. doing good with speaking in french at school and at home. still as funny and as tricky as usual.

well ,dear friends, I haven't been here for about one year just like you. But I miss this family, so I am finally back too . new year is coming soon ,happy new year^_^
