As someone who is graduating this year, I am still lost. I do have a few things in mind, and am applying to a couple of graduate schools. However, as someone who is very much indecisive, I don't know whether I should just go to grad school or go out into the job market. I know the economy is horrible, so it would be hard finding a job. But I'm not sure it's smart to go to grad school only to put off job hunting, lol. Where do you all see yourselves when you graduate?

I forgot to add, I see myself becoming a teacher when I graduate and in about four to five yeats after that owning my own daycare.

Graduate school is very expensive. People only go if it fits into your plans. You could always do it at night once you land a job. Depending on your job, and the education needed, they might even pay for all or some of your grad school. I don't think it's good to go just to go.

Grad school is expensive, but undergrad is even more expensive where I go. In graduate school its about $8-10k a year while undergrad is $26k+. I am doing my B.A. in Sociology and if I were to get my Master's in Sociology I would only go for another year. I love the Sociology field but I'm scared about the job prospects.

I guess that is a problem which every college student will face soon or later. For me, that's really a matter of time. Two years later, I will be graduated from my college, but I have made up my mind that I will go to find a job instead of continue my school work. I think it's time for me to do something for my family and myself then. Of course, this is only my opinion, you can just keep yours. Good luck.
