Warm holiday wishes and happy New Year to friends near and far

Greetings to all in Mylot Land,
It has been quite some time since I dropped by and connected with the many valuable Cyber friends I have made in Mylot Land since I signed up a year and half ago. I miss chatting and staying in touch with new and old friends and could not let the holiday season go by without touching in with warm holiday wishes and cheers for the coming year.
David and I are in a really good place in our lives and plan to enjoy the inner peace we are feeling snug in our little rural community and spending time with friends. We have been celebrating the season by going out on a hay ride and singing carols around town. We went to a carol festival and joined everyone in song there as well.
For many this season is a time to express our love and appreciation for others and to offer assistance to those who are less fortunate. It is my sincere hope that whether you celebrate this season or not...that the hope and promise it represents will be something we will all see more of in 2009 and beyond.
I am including something on friendship that we have framed and hung on a wall. It is how I view all the friends and kindred spirits in my life...and that includes those from this community as well. Hope you enjoy it...
FRIENDSHIP

That's what Cyber friendships are like to me...we may never see each other but we are there for each other along with all this and more.

and is willing to trust us
With their friendship.
Laughter, like sunshine

May the true light guide your way and keep you and all your loved ones safe and happy on the paths you travel into 2009 and beyond.

Maybe sonme time our 2 eyes can met be a big job to do there huh?

Thanks for your always warm acknowledgments about my being back here. Like you, no matter where else I wander or whatever sites I sign onto there will always be a special place in my heart for Mylot.
After all without this forum I would never have met the wonderful soul sisters like you, Darkwing and others.
Having more than one place to chat is fun and at this point not too terribly time consuming. Adding all the photos and videos was very creatively satisfying to me and fun to share my "faves" with others.
Thanks for your birthday greetings on the Den site. I am really looking forward to getting together with the Winnipeg gang. We haven't seen them since the gathering on September 27th. It has become a tradition to bring in the New Year and celebrate my B-Day.

I am glad you received the card...when I say we think of you often...I know you know it is true....and we feel that from you! Hey...rather poetic eh!
Yes, I want our eyes to meet...and I keep "intending" that to occur. We are two strong women and channel a lot of energy...with the combination of our intent it could very well occur. At least that is my story...and I am sticking to it!
Thanks for your comments on the photo as well. Great to be back...and I love Darkwing's site too...so now we have double the chance to keep in touch. I trust that our phone calls will be easier to manage after the holidays. We will call you in the holiday week...need to share our "cheer" in a more personal way.

Wow!How time flies and we're all about to embark in a new journey...new challenges... and new friendships. Mylot is something else. It's not only a website but it serves as our bridge for friends who met here and decided to still connect with each other... even if we are like two eyes, who connect but never see each other.
I wasn't very active the middle of 2008 because I'm nurturing a brand new addition to our family. As a matter of fact, while I'm sitting here, typing away, the baby is kicking like a football player!
I just want to thank you for accepting me as your friend and trusting me enough to tell me what goes on with your life. Even if we still haven't seen each other. I used to think that forming a bond of friendship in cyberspace is just too good to be true. But you have proven me wrong. And thank you for that.
It's another brand new year of Mylotting experience for all of us. And I'm very optimistic about 2009. Sure, there will be brand new challenges and problems, too. But that's what makes life worth living. But what's more important is that, it's another year for all of us who have made friends here at Mylot and still enjoying that bond of trust and friendship between us.

Sorry it has taken me a month to respond to yours. Now that we have been back in touch we both know why. I am glad you liked the ideas on friendship...yes, it does fit with the bonds we make in Cyber space for sure!
Like you I never thought that people I have never met in person would come to be so important to me. You and I have shared so many open heart-to-hearts since we first connected shortly after you became a member here. I recall how we tentatively opened up...then exchanged e-mail addresses, then e-mails...then photos and we just keep on keeping on.
Even with some lag time between chats we always pick up right where we left off...and I love that about us.
I am so happy to hear you and your wee one are doing well. David and I have kept you in our prayers because you were open about your loss the last time you tried.
Now that you are a member of FBF we will be able to be even more open and share more of our private lives and the ups and downs of life. Sending you and your family belated wishes for a 2009 that is the best one so far...with many more to come.

Hi perspectives! I was really happy with your discussion and I must say I learnt a lot from it. One of the relevant things I learnt was about the eye. That was a remarkable one. It's trully a season of sharing and caring. We must try to see people on the other side, we must consider the fact that there so many people who need help. It's a perfect time to reach out. I am really touched and pleased by your enthusiastic response to the discussion...thank you for being here and adding to the topic.
Yes, whether people celebrate Christmas or not...what it represents transcends all religious doctrines. At the core of the message is love and hope. It is something this planet needs more of.
When we reach a point of looking for more common ground rather than the differences we could begin to bring about the peace we would all like to see someday.
So yes, giving to the less fortunate and counting the blessings we have in an attitude of gratitude are ways we can celebrate the best of the season and carry it into the New Year and hopefully...far beyond.
Wishing you and your loved ones a season of joy...and a new year filled with whatever you wish for yourselves.

Ah sweet one...I am always happy to see your "angelic presence" here. Whenever am not here or do not have a chance to chat with you I do wonder how you and your family are doing.
I am really glad you dropped by to share holiday greetings with us and that you enjoyed the ideas on Cyber friendships. Yes, it is rather profound how we can come to care so deeply about people we have never met...yet is happens.
That is the reason I will always come back to Mylot as time permits. I sincerely care about you and other special friends here and want to keep in touch as long as possible.
I know things are very challenging for you. My genuine hope and prayer for you is that new channels of opportunity will open for you in the coming year. how did you know that it is warm here? joke... your discussion is really warm feeling to the heart. people who really treasure you as a friend can really feel the sincerity of those words. i may not see you that often at mylot but i know when you open up a discussion..... it is a discussion that really comes from your heart and was carefully transfered in well picked words. this can show how affectionate you are and how intelligent too. comparing friends from mylot as stars makes me feel like a hollywood actor.... lol just joking. it makes me happy to read this and it turned on my happy and glad mode. happy holidays to you and your love ones

Ah...what beautiful words to read. Thank you so very much for your generous, honoring and very loving words. They touch my heart because I feel the sincerity within them.
Please accept my apology for not responding sooner. My hubby and I have been busy with our business development plans. We have designed a website, set up 3 blogs and created our own discussion forum.
However, I feel very loyal to Mylot because this place continually puts me in touch with beautiful, caring people like you.
Your insight into how I try to "be" in this world is very heartwarming and I appreciate that you are so open. Thanks so much for giving me holiday gifts...even though the season is over.
I hope to drop by a little more frequently and look forward to chatting again. I sincerely hope you and all your loved ones are staring year 2009 in a positive way.

I wish you and David a Very Merry Christmas and a most Joyous New Year. These past few months I haven't been on mylot much neither. I miss all my friends here so much, you explained our many friendships with each other so well. We do become friends here, we do come to cae for one another. It doesn't matter if we don't see each other in person, though it would be nice. I value the friendships I have formed here. I too have been realy busy. A few months ago, I got serious with selling on ebay. I have been kickin some butt, mostly mine, hehe. Within 2 months I became a power seller. Things in my world have been looking up. I am starting to grow up and sprout some wings. I do know with the holiday ebay sales have been good, I am hoping that I can keep it up into the new year. If I have to change directions again, I know in my heart that it will be ok. It is so nice to hear from you, I am happy that you and David are in a good place. Take care my cyber friend. Vickie

It seems a number of people from Mylot have not been here as much either. You have been doing well though...I just noticed that you topped the 7,000 with your credits...wow...impressive my friend. I have been sitting around 2,000 for a long time. The fact that I usually only have time to respond to responses here does not push my numbers up. Oh well, it is my choice and I accept that.
Yes, the friendships we form here do have meaning and Mylot really opened my eyes to the fact that the exchanges and offerings we make to each other sweeten life a lot. You will have to forgive me but I cannot recall whether we exchanged e-mail addresses or not. I know we talked about it but not sure if we did. If you are okay with it I will PM you mine and if you ever care to touch in by e-mail when we are not here I'd always be happy to hear from you.
I hope you can feel the sincerity in my words when I say that I have been thinking about you and wondering how things were going. It give me a good feeling to hear that you things are going so well with you and that you are "sprouting your wings."
It is good to know you have found something that you have a flair for and have become a power seller in such a short time...good for you and BIG congrats as well.

Greetings of the season. It has indeed been a while since your presence was felt here. Your dropping by at Christmas week with your seasons greetings and warm holiday wishes brings a breath of fresh air to this place and blessings to those of us who chance upon your post.
Doreen and I would like to take this occasion to also wish you and David our warm Yuletide greetings. A blessed Christmas to you both. May the joy and blessing of Christmas be felt in your home and among your loved ones.
At Christmastime, it is certainly great to be among friends. Your analogy of cyber friendships with the relationship shared between our two eyes is very true indeed. Yes, our relationships established here and among people we meet virtually on the internet may most likely remain in cyberspace. We interact but not see each other’s smiles, nor the expressions of joy, surprise, laughter, cry, hurt, anger, sadness or disappointment. These however do not prevent good and genuine cyber friendships, which are like symbiotic relationships, to be established. Words written and shared amongst cyber friends can weave magic when applied in the appropriate settings. They can inspire and encourage, warm someone’s heart or give someone a lift when he/she is down. That’s why I value good cyber friendships as much as those I forge interacting with people physically, because we can bless each other in ways we sometimes do not realize.
Thanks Raia and David for being my wonderful cyber friends. Thanks too to everyone here (and there are many of you) whom I have interacted with, and who have touched me in a positive way and made me feel welcomed being a part of myLot family.

Ah Victor...
What a pleasure it is to have a chance to chat with you again. Thank you for your nourishing comments about my return here. Yes, sometime in "life's happenings" it is hard to find time to visit with the wonderful friends here in Mylot Land.
Even when I am absent I think of special people like you and Doreen. Whenever I look at the beautiful anniversary card you made for us I recall how much David and I appreciate our connection with you and your wife. So amazing to me that we establish such truly meaningful friendships from people across the planet. Just imagine that we would never have known we were out there had it not been for this site.
That is why I will always return here. I have great loyalty to Mylot and the valued Cyber friends I have...and of course you are among them. Sometimes our chats and sharings feel so substantive that it is as though I could pick up the phone and invite you and Doreen over for dinner. Alas the many geographic miles between us do not allow that to occur. However, the fact that we keep in touch as we can and share in life's events is still a great blessing.
That is why I chose the photo of lights dotted across the various countries. The friends we have made here are light "fire-flies" in the evening to me. They enchant and brighten my world and remind me of the spiritual oneness within all of creation. Yes, there is a One-Song to life...and we sing it together. Thanks for joining in the chorus with your wonderful words and special energetic presence.

I will passed your greetings on to David and he said to say thanks for thinking of him. It is good to know you enjoyed the ideas about friendship. It is still rather awesome to me to accept how connected I feel to special friends like you and others I have met here. I appreciate how the bonds deepen with each exchange be they chats here, by e-mail or now on other sites.
Yes, we may never meet...but like the stars it is a comfort to know of so many others who are adding such beauty and light to the world. It is very comforting with so much upheaval, hatred and fear that is out there.
