I'm new to this, how much time does everyone spend on here?

hiya everyoe i'm new to this and was just wondering how much time people spent on here on an average day? i think i'm addicted to it already n i havnt been registerd long, someone has tried to add me as a friend wot happens when u add someone as a friend can they see your personal information or can they just see your username etc. whey do we actually add people as friends, is that just so u can chat to them or discuss something with them and u have them on your list so u can talk to them easier? or are u only supposed to add people as friends that you already know?
