Common ancestor with Humans

Well in the Documentary video Walking With Monsters. There was a Cephalaspis Armored head fish from which we have a common ancestor. We have a brain that helps us solve problems. inside that Armored head was a Brain which helped the fish have memories or so. On the web search around, humans also have common ancestors with other animals such as reptiles,amphibians. Just wondering what could be the common ancestor? bacteria? We may not be closely related but we could be distantly related every one of us. We used to be all one people, till migration and adaptation changed our facial looks. hmm I think Im thinking too hard. gonna get something to eat
