Some long term marriages are/were: Bob and Delores Hope (69 years), Dennis Weaver and Gerry Stowell (51 years), Jane Wyatt and Edgar Ward (64 years), Mike and Genevieve Douglas (62 years) plus Walter and Betsy Cronkite (64 years). These are some of the marriage that have lasted. Notice a trend here? They are all older couples from a time when people worked at marriage and didn't give up at the first sign of trouble. There are very few relationships in Hollywood right now that have any major time under their belt but there are a few: Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn (though not married, they've been together for 24 years) and Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollen (18 years). As you can see, you'd be hard pressed to find very many long term couples in Hollywood these days.
