Hey,
I have tried about 3 Internet Security Suites and I will describe ones that I have tried below. Firstly I had Norton Internet Security 2009. Even though it did remove nearly all of the viruses that I had, it slowed down my computer quite a bit. Normally my computer takes about 6 seconds to log in, but with Norton it took around 10 seconds.
I then tried Windows Live OneCare. It was even worse than Norton. Instead of it taking 10 seconds like Norton to log in, it took 40 seconds! Not to mention that the Antivirus is also worse than Nortons. After I got sick of OneCare I uninstalled it.
Lastly I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and I am actually quite proud of it. Not only does it take 6 seconds to log me in, but it also picks up and finds more viruses than Norton aswell. I haven't actually tried Nod32 but I have also heard that it is quite good. Try either Kaspersky 2009 or Nod32 :D

according to me the best inter net security is provided by Norton 360 it slows down u r pc but gives good security.
another one which i would like to recommend is avast it makes u aware when there is a attack on u pc.
the main difference between the two is of the speed of the pc , Norton slows it down whereas avast doesn't.

There are a couple of other shields that you should have on your computer as well as those other normal shields the others have mentioned.
Many installation programs and software will try and snap a picture of your screen or try and read the keys on your keyboard.
A rather sad and increasing amount of so called trusted and, I never would have thought, names are doing it.
Find yourself anti-keylogging and anti screen shot software.

there are many internet security actually that its sometimes difficult whats best for us. but before ull buy, try to do some research first, go through some reviews from customers, then later comes the comparing. like for instance u want an internet security that is cheap, something that won't take computer loading tasking...each internet security has its unique features that some won't have..and they may vary. it depends on what suits u best and what u think will works u best...
i for one use the trend micro pccillin..ive been using that ever since. norton just doesnt work for me coz it takes long time to load, same goes with avg and kaspersky..i have tried the trojanremover as well but it only removes trojan viruses, none of that spywares, freewares or other type of viruses so it may be limited.
goodluck on ur search and hope ull find one that will be a great help to u. :)

I've used Norton products for a few years now and have found them to work well when it comes to protecting my computers. AVG is also a good product but...and I'm not sure about this...but I thought that the free version was a limited time trial. I do know someone who uses AVG and is very happy with it.

I have to agree with tmOney3 and add one more, and that is NOD32. Also i think that is the best one.
