Denial of the facts does not solve any proble.

It is common in our daily life. Certain types of people will not just admit that his or her action was wrong. They will keep on arguing and if necessary raise voice to establish reason of their action. May be they do out of their ego or to avoid getting shamed.
But it really does not solve the problem, but covers up for a while only. Better option is to accept the fact and try to correct if possible, if not simply apologies.
Do you think that this simple procedure of accepting wrongdoing or responsibility can reduce our daily life conflicts to almost nil.

That is what you call "DEFENSE MECHANISM"...When we have done wrong, we cannot instantly admit and accept the fact that it is our fault. Because of pride, we tend to stand with our actions that we are right even when we are wrong. In denial as we likewise call it.
