If there is no Devil, then how to explain the evil in the world?

This question is rather a common one.
The truth is that there is no Devil. This being was created by human imagination to explain the evil in the world.
God is the creator of each and everything, good as well as bad, light as well as dark, hot as well as God. It is unwise to throw the responsibilty of evil on an imaginary creature.
From everything evil, some lesson is there to be learnt. That is why God allows evil. If Devil causes evil and God is against evil, then it would take only a fraction of a second for the Almighty to strike the Devil dead.

Well, let's see: poor genetics (leading to inflexible belief systems and low intelligence), poor socialisation (leading to selfishness and lack of guidelines, poverty (leading to desperation and crime), institutionalised greed (leading to unethical and immoral business practices), overpopulation (which leads to social breakdown), poor education (leading to lack of knowledge of positive alternatives), religious and political dogma (leading to hatred, obsessive patriotism, and bigotry, poor parenting (leading to lack of discipline and good role models). I could probably find another dozen without really trying.
All of them work together to allow, encourage, and tolerate evil. Not only does God have nothing to do with it, a belief in God, of whatever kind, often creates evil rather than stopping it.
If I had to pick any single one of those as a prime element, overpopulation would be my choice, since it limits the possibilities to alter most if not all of the others.

On the contrary, it;s exactly the lack of belief in G-d and the lack of love of G-d that gives evil the possibility of expression.

The devil is fictional. As is god(s). Humans are responsible for their own actions and it is an act of cowardice to attach any level of accountability to a fictional character in order to excuse your own wrongdoings.

God is in the equation. He granted us the free will to make our choices of if we want to follow him, or to follow the evil one named the Devil or Satan. So I think God is involved in this equation because with free will he is giving us the choice of who to follow.
Hopefully we all choose to follow God and his Son and Our Lord Jesus Christ! Everyone needs God and with God you can do anything with just the faith the size of a mustard seed.

The only evil in this world is the evil that humans create. We invent what we think is good and then we brand those that do not comply with this to be evil. There is no devil. Some people are just born evil and some become evil by the way they achieve their desires.
What is evil to one person might not be evil to others. Psychopaths are usually born evil and the early warning signs appear in childhood. I do not know if it is possible to create them through brain damage or anything like that. The experts say that you will always find tortured animals in their childhood. They enjoy causing pain and do not have the moral controls that most people have.
Others might be borderline but if they see others getting what they want and nothing happens to them they may well turn ruthless and take what they want without caring who they hurt. This is all to do with the human mind.

The Devil is a result of God allowing free will. He was once a beautiful angel who became so power hungry that he wanted to be God. So in a sense God created evil, but I think it's more that He lets everyone have free will. And sometimes evil and sin are a result of that. I believe in the devil, I have said this several times before but I have experienced demon attacks and even a spiritual battle taking place around my levitated body between good and evil spirits, so I cannot deny that there is a demon.

I do not believe that. The devil was an invention to try and shift the blame for evil from the people who commit evil to some imaginary character. That way they can pretend that they are not really evil cause the devil just used them.
It is simply not true. Some humans simply are born evil. That is where the psychopaths and sociopaths come from. They are born that way and one of the early warning signs is when they torture animals when young children as they progress on to humans in time.
It has nothing to do with Gods or devils.

I don't think that is quite accurate. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The Devil was the highest archangel. He thought that everyone should be equal to god. So he tried to get all the other angles to think like this. That is why god banished him from heaven. He wasn't nessicarily evil he just thought that he could be god.

Yes, it is all in our perception. Just the way we wouldn’t not white if there was no black or we wouldn’t value light if there was no darkness. It is also a reflection of our wild thoughts, our vices that reside deep in each of us. The image of the devil and hell also serves as a warning of the consequences if we stray away from the path of virtue and thus helps society to function properly.

Some say there is a devil and an angel in all of us, and it is up to us how and when we use them. The beast or the devil is us is when we release it when we get out of order and it is the fact that one evil deeds lets to another. Its just that we are born with it and we need to control the beast in us and leave it completely dormant so that the good will take control of us. That's what i believe but when i was a kid i used to think that the devil will be like humans having some powers that he can vanish into the thin air...etc

If you want to know the truth, please read the Bible and see that the Devil is real, God created him as an Arch angel but he corrupted his estate and he was casted out of Heaven and there he became evil and was tag 'the evil one' thus the word 'D'evil came from

Hmm...after a great deal of thought, I have come to the conclusion that God is both positive and negative, light and dark, as you say...yup, both good and evil.

There is no Devil, and Evil is just plain Ignorance. People will be righteous when they learn Right from Wrong. This is why the prison system tries to educate the prisoners. So they will learn right from wrong. Granted there are some well educated convicts, and criminals, but these people have missed out somewhere along the way. Hitler went to heaven because he thought he was doing right by his country and his People. He was ignorant of the Human suffering he was causing.

I think your thinking into this far too much. God gave everybody free will. There are bad people out there that create evil everyday. We aren't puppets that are controlled by god and the devil.

that's a load of bum, 'God is love', so obviously didnt create evil because that would be unloving and unkind, which is the opposite of his personality.
God allows the Devil to live, in order to prove the point that only God has the ability to rule humankind. Man, under the control of Satan, can only cause harm. God is allowing humans to try everything, before stepping in himself and putting an end to the wickedness in the world.
