how to say"i like you" or "i love you" to the person you like or love that you just met, how will you say it in joke or in serious manner?

I smile a lot, that's how I say I like you. :)And my way of saying "iloveyou" is when I always give time for him (as in top priority)and I care a lot of a person. :)

i actually like her response. i also smile alot when i like someone, and i let my eyes do the talking. like when we're alone, i would smile real big & look deep into his eyes to let him know that im interested =)

i believe that if it's really how you felt, then you should just come straight forward with it. dont think about how the other person is going to respond, just worry about letting them know how you truly feel. it's better to take a chance and going for it, than living the rest of your life wondering what could've been.

apart from my parents, i havent' said it to anyone and meant it.
i guess, if i'm on the receiving end, if you were to say it as a joke, i'd just take it as face value. i normalyl joke about liking or loving people. like someone does me a favour, i'd go "oh i love you so. you're such a darling." but i don't love that person in a love love kind of way.
SO, i recommend you to do it seriously if you're meaning to further your relationship with the other party. =)

most of the time i didn't wanted to tell i usually do it or tell by showing to avoid being notice because some can say about difference from being act and being said. thanks for the response...
