Hi bombshell,
I agree with you, In my whole life, I always celebrate Christmas time with my Parents, sister, hubby and relatives, I always make it sure to attend friends' party before 25th or after 25th...But, this time of the year, I am far from my Family in the Philippines, it's hard and sad but I will be looking forward for the next Celebration to be with them! ENjoy!

Guess most of the teenagers in the family will go out and celebrate xmas eve..but my son is workng and my daughter has her son, so neither of them go out then my daughter normally comes to me instead...littleowl

In all cases family does not come first. In social festivals including Christmas friends come first. We like and love their company. To share joy with everbody is unique.Thank you.

I think family should come first. Everyday you go to work, the others must do their work, you don't have time to share with your family, even sometimes you must to take your job home. About the Christmas Eve, maybe, try to go home early, that will be better.
