How to avoid from being attack repeatedly

Hi guys.I like to play this game so much.I play it most of the time..during my leisure time..and also sometime during office hour hehe :).
Anyway recently i've been attacked repeatedly by a few people..Do you guys have some tips to avoid from that kind of thing happen...hope to hear advices & guidance from u guys..

Try to build higher walls and train more steams or hoplites. Avoid stock-piling resources, and build higher hideouts with more spies. Also, ask the attacker what he wants, and try to solve everything diplomatically. Lastly, try to join an alliance!

Hi, I am not sure if these tips are too late. Try upgrading your hideout at least level 10 so that spy from enemies are detected easier. Own at least 100 phalanx and then owns at least 20 battle ships to stop the pillages. I have joined under an alliance and usually enemies will try to not attack those under strong alliance as they afraid revenges and retaliation will happen. But in order for you to join and be accepted in alliance, you must be strong too! all the best in playing!

I get attacked all the time, so what i do is just to build as many warehouses as possible and try to upgrade them, i don't build walls and other defensive units so whenever enemies attack the go home empty handed.
