Mommy! I went!

Now, we all know cats like a clean litter box, but this is getting reee-diculous! Harmony started using her litter box again two weeks ago, after going outside all summer and fall. And as soon as she uses the box during the day, she comes over to me and taps me and taps me and taps me until I get up from whatever I'm doing and go "flush her toilet". Just happened again.
How fastidious is your furbaby?

aww---I think that's sweet. Nope can't say my two kitties do that. Although while I'm still snoozing in bed and not quite ready to get up, my Pyewacket alerts me by tapping my face with his paw...as if to say, "Hey mom...time to get up to feed us before we pass out with hunger"...

Oh had to add though....keeping in a bathroom "theme" here. When I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, my other cat, Kissy insists on accompanying me....as if I didn't know the way to the bathroom..Don't ask how many times I've practically fallen on my face walking in the dark to the bathroom...she tends to meander in and out of my legs

My kitty likes a clean potty too. But luckily he doesn't bother me as much as your cat. But than again we only clean are kitty litter about once a week and he seems to be happy with that. Although he would rub his butt again the floor if he wants his potty cleaned.

Hey barbara! That is too funny! She's just like a little kid!
You should be soooooo proud! My cat's couldn't care less! In
fact if Mommy doesn't pass out from the odor they would just
keep going and going! Lucky for them Mommy changes the litter
box every other day, or two days if Mommy is being just a
little bit lazy! I think that your baby is so smart! Maybe
a little bit too smart for her own good! I have never heard
of a cat that did that before! I guess she just doesn't want
her litter box to be "dirty"! Good girl Harmony! Would you
like to teach Star & Luna that trick?

I'm not sure how she came up with it. She didn't do it last winter, and at her last house, the box didn't get emptied on any kind of regular basis.

We have had our cats tell us when the litter box needs to be cleaned out, but not after every visit.

Awww. That story is so heartwarming :] I think your cat really loves you a lot and depend on you. You should feel proud of yourself for taking good care of your cat. Don't pamper or spoil the cat though or you will always have to be by its side.
My cat is at a pet center right now getting its monthly checkups

Awwww that's so cute!! I've never heard of a cat doing such a thing and it's really cute!! Maybe she wants your approval for being such a good kitty? Who knows but what ever the reason, it's cute!! My mom had a cat who loved to play fetch. She'd get her toy and bring it to mom and mom would throw it and the cat would chase after it and bring it back. lol Another thing that cat did was, she'd try to get mom out of bed and when mom wouldn't get up she'd go to their bathroom cabinet and slightly open it and let it go "BANG" and open it again and let it go "BANG" over and over again until mom would get up. lol

I believe that your cat would be a good candidate for training to use the water closet in your bathroom. She seems to be one smart cat.
