A great place to make extra money...

You can get paid by view if you write for E-How.com. I have written there frequently and usually get around $50.00 a month there. Most of this is residual income as I don't write quite as often as I used to. However, it takes a good amount of articles before you get a good amount of residual income as you need items for people to look at there and you need to make a good amount of friends before significant profits are obtained. However, it is simple to do so. This is just to help users make a little extra money as you can't really expect to replace other sources of income with E-How. If you want to go there, it is simple to type "e-how" as a key word into a search engine and find the site. If you go there and want to be my friend, you can look up Aimee30--although that's not required to make any money and I won't earn anything for referring you, just whatever stories I wrote that you might look at.

Amythyst, can I ask about how many articles do you have posted that earn you $50 a month. I'm fairly new to this site and I'm trying to get an idea of how many I'll need to post to reach my goal. Thanks so much!

I have over 150. However, I have not been intensely writing, maybe 1-3 per month to make sure I have something new for people to look at. They have a form to fill in. The new requirement though, is that articles written have to be about 300 words long, the publishing engine won't let you move on until that is accomplished now. However, I really started earning about $50.00 a month before I got over 150 articles. There is also a trick to earn more money per article--videos and pictures help, putting links to your articles on social site blogs such as Myspace, Facebook, Yuwie, signing up for one of the bookmark sites available that e-how has posted by the article, making tons of friends to view your articles, writing quality articles and most of all, writing an article on a popular recent topic everyone wants to know about. Some really popular ones are on holiday items, movies recently out, and anything popular right now. However, I don't do too much with extremely popular stuff as I just write about stuff I'm interested in and know something about. They even let you submit recipes as how to articles. When you first start out there and only have about ten articles, you might be disappointed by your earnings, but if you do at least some of the things above, you can get more visitors. After joining in November 2007, I didn't meet payout until the end of January of 2008, but I had less than 10 articles until then. The more I wrote, made friends, and other activities--I started earning more and more. It's easier earning than at Associated Content at least. I got paid a little over a dollar a couple of times there and $5.00 for writing exclusive content, but E-How is much easier and getting paid $50.00 a month is so much more exciting than a little bit of money per page view--you don't even get a penny per view on Associated. As a courtesy to any friends you make on eHow, you should really set aside some time to look at their articles as well at least once in a while. They look at your articles, so the only natural thing is to return the favor. By the way, they have no referral program. There was one for a month when they wanted more writers, but they don't offer one all the time. It is really easy to earn though, once you get people to look at your articles.

Fantastic info. Thanks so much for your response. It has taken me about 2 months to meet payout as well. But I did it and I have seen quite a nice increase in my earnings. We should be friends at eHow!!!:) (Maybe we already are...your name looks familiar...lol)

Thanks for letting us know about that site! I think I have heard of it before, but I didn't realize that you could make that much money there. I will definitely have to check it out!

Interesting site, but the compensation is only for USA citizens, so those who are international cannot earn, as far as i understood the terms of use... I am so happy that there are some sites like myLot - we can at least earn a little to our Paypal and if we use the earnings wisely, we can earn even more... Some of the sites I have on the webpage in my profile accept Paypal for upgrading......
