How often do you shampoo?

We take bath daily, well atleast most of us:) How often do we take head bath or say shampoo? Is it healthy to shampoo our hair daily? Some say it is, some say not. I think taking a head bath every alternate day is ok. Any comments?

I think it varies from person to person. Somebody maybe has to wash her/his hair every day, somebody 3 times a week.

I wash my hair once a week, anymore than that and it gets dry and matted, but any less than that it gets oily and gross.
