How would you deal with this.

It is so awful. My neibour brought his christmas card round the other day and told us he was finished,he had lost his business and might have to sell his house and that he was broke,he is such a nice man and we almost cried with him.He went to the government for help but they told him he was on his own and by the way could he pay his tax bill quick or he would have such a high rate of interest he would not afford to pay the installment,so that was the last of his money to keep him out of court. He has employed ten men who he has had to lay off,he has contributed to society by keeping his business going and now he cannot get any help from anyone.Does anyone else know anyone who has been through the same thing or is going through it.

Yes, I had known somebody who had been through in the same position, we knew each other years ago online and we became friends and met in person. He was such a nice guy and very helpful, I was so shocked when I heard that he was going to close his business and laid off his employees. He was so depressed about what happened he ended up selling his house and moved to a flat and after a week he had a heart attack, and that's the last time I heard about him. I hope he is getting better now.

That's just how the government is. They never help people that really need help. My uncle went blind and wasn't able to work anymore. So he had to try to get disability and had to go for 3 years with no income because the government didn't want to help him. Then there are the people who have never worked a day in their lives and fake disabilities and the government hands them a big check every month.

That's awful. I don't know anyone who is going through this right now but it wouldn't surprise me if sometime soon I found out someone I knew was in this situation. It's all so unexpected and unfortunate. I wish you and your neighbor the best of luck. Happy Holidays!
