I am definately not a picky eater. I'll try most anything. There are very few foods I don't like..one of them being beef liver..Are you a picky eater and if not what is the one food you won't eat?

Some people might say that I am a fussy eater but I much prefer to think of myself as being a "selective eater". Basically that means if I do not like something then I won't eat it which does not mean that I am picky at all. lol Generally I do eat most things. Where I get selective is that if possible I will mostly eat organically produced food because we think it is much better for us than something that is continually sprayed with chemicals. As we actually grow all our own fruit and vegetables organically it does not cost us as much as it would if we were buying it. We also have some laying hens for the eggs as well as some hens that we raise for the table and they are all free range and only locked away at night. We do a lot of experimenting with cooking and try to find new and different ways to prepare the fruit and vegetables which we grow. It is a sort of service that we provide for those customers who are interested, i.e. we test a recipe and if it works then we will include some copies of those recipes for any of our customers who might be interested. It is just one of the selling tools that we use and it does help some people when they are deciding whether or not to buy our produce. About the only things I will not eat under any circumstances are oysters, tripe and mutton. Anything else I will at least try to eat once but if I don’t like it then I look for something else. We have found it interesting that some people can cook something up and it is simply disgusting but another person can basically cook the same foods and it tastes completely different. It can depend on how the food is cooked and what spices are used. We do not add salt to any of our cooking but instead have a preference for using herbs and spices to give the food that extra flavour. Also we tend to avoid fatty foods as much as possible, although every few months we will get a small serve of chips/fries to share. We always buy the chips/fries because that way we limit what we eat because I am sure that if we cooked them at home we would eat heaps more than is good for us. lol

I like the term selective eater..lol. It is strange how different food can taste in terms of who prepares it. And prepares it the same way. I like the idea of giving out recipes with your product.I would definately come there first as I am always looking for new dishes to prepare for the family. Thanks oldboy.

I think I'm quite picky in food, although I've improved a lot. I don't like to eat internal organs for any animal, such as liver. Also, I don't like to eat fat meat, I just find they are oily and fat! Besides that, I think I'm still find with other food, sometimes although I don't really like it, I'll still eat.

I don't think of myself as a picky eater since I will try anything at least once. There are some foods that I am particular about how they need to be prepared in order for me to eat them, but all in all I am pretty easy to please.

I can no longer tolerate salty foods. Nor do I like foods dripping in grease. Liver I used to have on occasion but I heard that organ meat isn't really healthy - after all they (or at least the liver and kidneys) are used to get rid of toxins in the body. I don't like boiled okra either - too slimy. I tolerate tomatoes as long as they are mixed with something, as in a sauce, or inside a sandwich. I used to have eggplant, but I suppose it needs to be cooked just right. I don't like meats that were cooked so fast that they are dry, as in most fast food places. And if they are not dry it's because they are greasy, or loaded with condiments or sauces. I guess I am a picky eater now. I make more requests more than ever before when I go out - light on the sauce; vegetables cooked correctly, not boiled to oblivion; mustard, not mayonnaise; honey mustard (or anything else), not ranch; - but I will try new sauces if I haven't tried them before.

I'm not really a picky eater. I like all sorts of foods. (Mainly the ones that are bad for me.) I can tolerate most fruits and vegetables, but I've never been a fan of green olives. They taste terrible.

Well, I absolutely will not eat eggs. I won't eat dark meat of poultry either. Other than that I will eat just about anything. My wife does the majority of the cooking, so you know how that goes......if I don't like it I can either cook something myself or not eat. I usually eat what she cooks.

I am a bit picky. I normally will try something new because I am always looking to expand my tastes. I never have a problem finding something on the menu when I go out to dine. I found that I was a lot pickier when I was a child. As I age, I find that I enjoy more and more foods. Now I can eat spicy foods which I previously did not like. Our taste buds change as we get older and I guess this is the reason that I have become less of a picky eater. I think that I will become even less picky as I get older. I might even like all foods when I am my grandparents age. Only time will tell lol.

Hi surveytaker..I'm not to crazy about spicy foods.Maybe I am kinda picky lol. I know what you mean about tastes changing as you get older. There are things I used to eat all the time as a child that I don't care for as much now at all. And visa versa.

I would never eat baby squid because I usually eat it then after that my tummy feels painful and can not be able to fall asleep till the next morning. So I think I may allergic to it. Despite of that, I think I would like to eat anything as long as taste good. Some vegetable I don't like but I can eat slow with rice.

There are times, when I am a picky eater. But I was more so, when I was a kid. I'm not as much of a picky eater as I was, but I still am a bit of one, though. I'll admit that much.

I would have to say I am becoming less of a picky eater. When I was growing up, my parents sorta catered to us kids. They made what they knew we'd eat but had the rule we had to eat what was on our plate before we could get up. When I left home, I didn't really try to much new things, until I met my husband and moved to the South. It was different all the way around, but the more I have lived here, the less I won't try. I like things now that I never pictured myself ever eating.

Hi Jae! I think most of our eating habits are structured from childhood. Alot of times we eat and learn to cook these things and if we are used to a certain diet it's hard to open up and try new things. I'm glad your getting to do that. I had to really expand my mind when I went to Japan. They eat a lot of things I have never seen..lol..I liked most all of it though. Thanks for responding.
