Are you a member of any social networking site?

I have recently developed a craze for social networking sites. They are a great place to meet new people, catch up with old friends, and .... get traffic flowing to your blogs and websites. They are also a wonderful place to get referrals.
I recently joined MySpace and Tagged. I think I have joined some more, but can't remember their names. It is really difficult to keep track of all these things. I am a bit fond of Tagged. I love those themes they have. On the other hand, Tagged is full of bugs and sucks. I have already complained about it.
What about you? Any social networking site that really pleases you?

I am on ciao, and facebook, and so many others, I can't keep track of them because I hardly ever go to any of them anymore, I just do not have the time for them, I though gather is great, you can make money on that one if you are american, I am not so I don't get any money.

im a memeber of orkut and hi5. orkut is a place where we can find new friends and meet old friends... but in orkut anyone can access our profile and could read our scraps...its not meant for privacy...once i was craze on orkut... as the day passess by im not...now im interested in using this mylot..

No. I was once a member of Orkut…it was a craze in our office and I had joined too. Frankly speaking, I found it utter crap. Not only was the format an open book and anybody could access my profile and my scraps and private details, people could just drop in with lines to which I just could not connect. In fact maybe I am too conservative, but I just did not like the SMS format of connecting with friends. I was about to forget how to construct a proper sentence. I left it and have never ever taken a look at any other social networking site. Actually I am a very private person and cant make friends too easily.

Orkut is not that popular with me too...as you said, it is a bit too open. Most networking sites are, but Orkut is too open. LOL!

I have a myspace account and i have another one somewhere lol
oh and i have a tagged but i never use it... i tried it out but didn't really care for it... i tried it to meet people around my area since i don't have many friends but i have social anxiety so its kind of hard to meet people.
i like myspace. i tried facebook but didn't care for it.. everyone i know and talk to has a myspace and i have them on my friends list... i don't really need a bunch of different sites with all the same friends on there...

I love facebook! I used to really like myspace until I discovered facebook. Why do I like it better? I think it's because most of my friends are on it, and I've met some new people. Also, there is less spam and better privacy settings. It's really fun getting status updates and keeping in touch with my friends!

The only socializing network I am in is friendster.
Most of my friends are members of that too and updating is also continuous.

I am very active at friendster and Im glad to meet all my old friends whom I have not meet in person for more than 10 years..It's amazing to see them again with their new look! LOL!
I have tried also to invite some of them to join me in my online sideline![/i]

I'm only a member of Facebook. Initially I was rather excited over all the applications, groups and games I can add to the profile. Then I realize that I was spending way too much time there and less on my writing, that I decided to delete all the apps, except for those that help to promote my articles. I only use it to find long-lost friends, relatives and colleagues. I don't have myspace, although I know many people are members of this social networkign site.

Oh!!! well I have a lot of networkings sites. I have Myspace,tagged, friendster, facebook, etc I even forget the others. LOL.. It is fun to be with networking sites.
Yes. easy to share your thing.. if you have something to promote, social networking is good for it.

yes i agree with u 90% of the traffic to my blog is from orkut. I really like orkut and i think orkut has the highest number of users from India. It is really easy to navigate in orkut and the themes are great. We can also start new communities in orkut. I am going to try Myspace now i have never heard of it before but now i am going to give it a try.
