I have doubts over Dhoni's capabilities to make India as No.1.

I was very unhappy when i watched the second test match between India and England. its a real disappointment. Having been in total command over the full period of the match what has prevented Dhoni to declare with a score or 300 or 350 and go after the English batsman. But it was a very slow declaration, giving India no chance to win the match. Atleast we should have given them two sessions. If there is a batting collapse we could have put pressure and tried to win. Positive attitude which was missing with the Indians.
Thats bad. Do you feel India is in the process of being the No.1 team? Do they have something in resemblance to Australia when they WERE No.1 (now i don't consider them as the force they were)?

no doubt at all one bad day in the office doesn't mean that the worker is bad also.... He has proved his mettle by winning 4 /4 test matches as a captain.... and now needs no more tests to do the same i am with dhoni and i am sure soner or later india will make it to the top...."BEST OF LUCK TEAM INDIA"

Being the no. 1 cannot be foretold this early. The team is going thru a transitional phase and needs to consolidate further. However, regarding this match, I think the weather tied Dhoni’s hand. Of what I have seen of Dhoni, he is not less aggressive and have shown the right attitude but in this case as fog had delayed the start on two days, precious time was lost. 300 or 350 could have been risky and if the English batsmen got to it, India would not have own the series at all.

i dont know but its been a tendency for the indian captains i have noticed lately.if they win the first match of a series, they think about only securing the spot and not going for a whitewash.even during the last test match against australia,if it hadnt been for ponting poor moves during the final session of the 4th day,we would have lost the game.and yes i also have doubts over his captaincy abilities.he is having a dreamy period.everything is working out fine for him.as the commentators usually say.ladyluck is reciding with dhoni at the moment.i wish to see how he would captain the team when he looses he 1st 2 matches of a 5 match series.that would be the test.happy lotting

well second test match between india and england was a real dissappointment we could have won the series by 2-0 but no dhoni has some other plans we could have taken some risk and some runs quickly and gave them the chance to play ,,,and we could have won
