Do you regularly change the filters?

The city water is not of good quality, so most people either buy bottled water or have filtering equipment installed. I got one a year ago, and was to change the filters every 6 months. As we have only two in the family, and we are often out of town, I did not change until recently. As expected, the filters look yellow from the rust, and there must be things even worse underneath. I shall take care to change as advised. The municipality is doing renovation on the water system. Hope by expo 2010, we can have clean water right from the tap. Do you change filters as required. Better check!

Yeah, I do change the filters regularly as required, otherwise I think the filtering function may not be working fine, and I'll be drinking the dirty water. There's a signal in my water filter equipment to tell us when we should change the filter, and the filter is supposed to be changed every year. We also need to change an ultraviolet tube every year, to get rid of the germs or something.

changing filters is very much important irrespective of how much you use the filter. In case the filter does not function properly if not changed in time you could land up in a mess. With so many water-borne diseases on the high we need to strictly keep a check on the filter. please take care to change the filter as per instructions and stay healthy.

We have well water soits very pure the only problem is there is rust in it so we had to buy a filter to get it out. It is a whole house water filter system but its not a very expensive one. The water filters have to be changed approximately ever 60 days. I cant do it by myself so I have to buy bottled water because I wont allow my children to drink water that has rust in it.

We do change our filter from time to time. Though I do not use our water supply for drinking. We purchased bottled water for drinking considering that our water supply in the pipe is not that safe. It is chlorinated and I do not like the taste. It might not be safe for drinking considering the chemical content. I only used the the water supply from our pipe for cooking and bathing as well as washing dishes.

We have a water filtering jug which we keep in the fridge. We do tend the filters fairly regularly, every month or so, and you can really taste the difference when the filter has just been changed. Whilst the water here is safe to drink, I don't think we can be too careful about what we put in our bodies. After all, we are getting so many other poisons into ourselves because of the air we breath, and the pesticide-sprayed foods we eat. :)

In my memory, last time I drink the water from faucet was the beginning of this year. My family engage bottled water to drink. Using tap water to wash fruit, bathing etc. Unfortunately we have not filter in my family, is that useful to filter water or let the water more clean? Maybe we should think about to buy one.

I have a water filter pitcher and we try to change the filter in it every month or so. You can tell when you change it. Big difference in the taste.
