Twilight - Philippine Version

can't really criticise. after all, Hollywood is always re-making films from other countries for a western audience. it will make it more accessable to people from the phillipines, and I'm sure people will enjoy it. I can't imagine I'd ever watch it, but that doesn't make it bad.

but still....twilight is the original....they can't copy the exact twilight ^^ but this is kinda good and kinda bad...for the fans of edward cullen...im sure girls will be mad at this...:)

oh my! why just can't we create our own shows? stop copycat or a filipino versions of.. all of the shows on tv are filipino versions, don't we have talented script writters that can create our own show? own story and own concept?

I can't do anything about it either lol! If only i'm James, i would kill Rayver right away before the taping starts. lol! At least this one's not a rip-off like Lobo which took the idea from the movie Blood and Chocolate . I think they should make a Philippine version of Twilight Zone than Twilight lol!

i actually read about it at perez hilton's website and what a ruckus it caused hehehe... i do wish it won't push through, seriously. coz even if people would tell me that "you don't have to watch if you dont want to", it still won't help appease me coz just the thought that its a local version of Twilight is enough to have me itching to check it out and look for everything that's wrong about it, gaaaaaah. depressing.

well since abs-cbn has denied it even though they did plan on making it, i'm sure they won't push through with it anymore because of all the clamors against it... hahaha. Too bad for ABS-CBN. =)

Philippine Media has really no originality. Maybe it would be nice if they made their own story and not copy Hollywood or International works so that there would be no comparison in the versions. That would be a great no-no for me...

oh my gosh .... I like Shaina but I never liked Rayver ... and I think it is better for our entertainment industry to conceptualize something original than spend money on buying rights just to go with the trend

Oh my God, I am praying that ABS-CBN will not do such a stupid thing. I mean, Twilight is Twilight, it is such a fantastic movie about an extraordinary love between a human and a vampire and making it in a local version will be a huge absurdity. I mean why can the Filipino filmmakers just think of any plot and not just copy from International released. I don't think so that Star Cinema can bring out the phenomenal success and wonderful story of Twilight, it will just look silly. Gosh, local talents are far far away compared to hollywood celebrities. From what I have heard ABS-CBN executives already denied the rumors of remake, stating that the news is simply unfounded. Just leave it to Summit entertainment and star cinema must look for original story and not copied one.
