I was at a toy store yesterday looking for a last-minute gift for my niece when I saw this big water gun that could squirt water miles away. I had this silly grin in my face and bought one for myself and another one for my niece and we played like silly little kids when I got home. Do you still play with toys even if you're already an adult or am I just pathetic?

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."
You're definitely not pathetic. I bring my psp with me everyday. At home... I just play Zuma - repeatedly. I'm just hooked!

I still play with toys. I'm a preschool teacher so I'm not sure if that gives me the right to still be a child and play with toys or what but I still do it. All the teachers that I work with get amused by certain toys that the children have to play with. Sometimes we play with the stuff more than the kids do so I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

I think you can still play with toys at any age.But when accompanied by kids alone. So to make them happy and participating in their games we shall become kids again. But I don't feel it good to play with toys lonely as you did it in your childhood. Then you may need some councelling. So,for me there are limits to play with toys.Cheers!

I think we're as young as we allow ourselves to be. There is nothing wrong with being a kid I love doing it and am looking forward to having kids so I have more of a concrete reason to watch all the cartoon movies I love to watch now a days :). Nothing wrong with tapping into your kid side. It allows you to stay fresh to the world and stay open hearted towards the bad things in this world. However so long as you can separate 'play time' form the real world then there is nothing wrong with this. :)

We are all big kids at heart, everyone of us has the child in us, some of us are happy and relaxed to show our child in public others don't feel happy or confident doing so and think it's churlish. I say let your child in you be happy and do what you want to do, why should it matter to others, you only get one go at life so be happy and if you like playing with toys at 32, 42, 62, 92 then enjoy, plenty worst things you can do. And at 37 Wolfie still watches children's cartoons!
