Difference between CELL HPONES and MOBILE PHONES ?

Till this date i can't understand that what is the difference between CELL PHONES and MOBILE PHONES when i go to electronic shop some body asked my that what kind of cellphone you want sir and some body ask me that what kind of mobile phone when i ask them they couldn't reply for that question i want that what is the difference between cellphone and mobile phone if have any idea of it so please revert me back ?

I thought that cell phone and mobile phone was one in the same. I think it's one of the sonomous words.
