http://siteanalytics.compete.com/gather.com+mylot.com I'm hope that I typed that right (it will be nice when I can paste). Anyway, compete is a great site that lets you look at how many users visit a site on a month to month basis. It is fun to do that with businesses, yahoo vs google, etc. Well I thought I would do myLot and Gather. And it is pretty crazy how the chart is. They are neck and neck. I had Yuwie in there too, but they are getting killed by mylot and gather. Personally I think Gather would be able to do a bit better if they would pay you for referrals. Check it out. Try a few site comparisons and see if you can get anything interesting. I'd like to hear what you come up with.

Wow, that funny how MyLot is getting more hits than Gather. I make better money over on Gather.

I have no clue. Unless it is because Gather only pays USA people. So, most people from other countries don't bother.

I was a bit surprised as well. Perhaps it has something to do with myLot's referral system, or maybe that it is primarily discussion and response driven. I don't think it is the look of the site.

It looks really neat, but some sites I put in it said it didn't have enough data for calculate.

Yeah I had noticed that too. But most of the site I typed in I found. It isn't a good tool for comparing personal blogs or anything like that. But as long as the site gets 100k or so a month, I think it's pretty much covered by compete.com.
