Why I am hanging out on MyLot on Christmas Eve?

Why am I on MyLot the day before Christmas when there are so many other things that I could probably be doing? I could still be hanging out with some friends at their mother's house even though I wasn't officially invited or I could be cleaning my kitchen and getting things looking nice in case of a surprise Christmas eve visit by a friend or two.
But instead I am hanging out on MyLot. In doing so I am getting ready to tell each and everyone of who reads this Merry Christmas. I hope that you are able to spend it with your family or other loved ones.
This year I didn't even decorate for Christmas as I haven't really been in the holiday spirit as much as I would have liked. Hopefully next year will be different!!!

Dear Keith,
I hope the holiday spirit has reached you on this first day of christmas, and that you have enjoyed it. The thing is, we can't allways do usefull things. Sometimes we need to get bored or sit back, we would be burned up if we did otherwise. This just might have been your moment to do so. Of the 100% we work the first 10% or something like that is equal to what we do in the last 90%; so better to start over a couple of times considering that theory. No use in going on and on.
Friends who pay a visit on surprise won't be looking for a clean, tidy room; they just want your companionship. They won't care

I am single. I have a roommate who is like a brother to me but he wasn't there at the time. My mother is 150 miles away and I had to work the next day at my job that is only part time so I shouldn't miss it.
I had people around that night and it turned out to be an enjoyable evening. However, when I made the post I was totally bored and I wondered what other people were doing at the time.

You seem to be down. Why don't you go to a Christmas Eve service at one of your local churches? They can be quite lovely. I'll be going to two of them. The late night service at the Episcopal Church is usually grand and very crowded, but the music is beautiful. You should think about going, if there are any in you town, and I wish you a happy Christmas and a better New Year.

I was a bit down but I did have a couple of my friends around. They are like family to me. I just didn't get things together this year and celebrate like I usually do. It was a downsized Christmas. I hope that you had a good one.

Merry Christmas to you Keith. I'm also hanging out her on Christmas eve. There are a million and one things I could be doing also. I guess you can say I'm multi-tasking because I'm cooking as I'm typing. I will be spending the day with my family and eating up everything in sight.

Trust me, there is nothing better to do rather then chill out on the internet. I have no family that is coming to see me. I have no friends that are coming to see me. I'll sit my butt right here on MyLot for as long as I want. Whenever my brother gets here, I'll give MyLot a rest but that isn't for a few more hours.

Well, I was not able to actually be in here on Christmas Eve myself as I had to work, and then we went to my SILs for Christmas, and spent time with my husbands family. It was a wonderful time though. Then Christmas day I had to work and then my husband and I just spent a quiet night alone, and had a wonderful time. Hope your Christmas was special.

Well, I spent some time Christmas Eve, with my siblings and mom and dad,
nieces, nephews and their kids yada yada!
But came home early and chilled with my b/f
Picked up a stomach bug on the 20th and haven't get over it yet! YUK
So, Merry Christmas to you all and remember that kids in school and
in day care often carry bugs around to others.
Kissing them sweet babies might not always be so sweet!

Well there are probably a couple of reasons for this. Possibly you just want to make a little extra money. Or perhaps you are addicted to MyLot. Or maybe it's something else, but those are the two most obvious possibilities.
Maybe I need to get a life.....or another dog or something......

Yes. Mischaps all over the world like terrorist attack, recession, financial crisis etc. has probably did not give a great festive look this year.

I am hanging out on myLot on Christmas eve, because it helps me deal with the pain of stretching my back out which I have to do everyday. I am thinking about giving myself Christmas day off, but I haven't decided yet. Besides which, all my wrapping is done, and there are no more Christmas related activities until eight o'clock when It's a Wonderful Life comes on, followed by the Top Chef Holiday Special.

for me there is not much christmas. first i am not a person with lot of celebration. then i have exams coming up and so i will be on the christmas day to my friends house to study. he is too like me. and in the evening and night i am working on the internet so that i can get some cash to pay my mobile bills and even get cash to but petrol in to my bike,
