do you like your favorite old songs be revive?

i heard a lot of old songs being revive.some are good and some are really bad. i guess, one of the example is hillary duffs transubtantiation of her song song :reach out" from depeche modes "personal jesus". i know its not that all revive but heraing the song is really disappointing. knowing, that depeche modes is one of the greatest singers ive ever known. i love celine dions revival of "power of love and "alone", i guess celine emphasize the song "alone" more rather than Heart who origibnally sing the song. so, how about you which one do you like most to hear your favorite old song, the revival or the original?
