Being alone does not necessarily mean loneliness. It is all a matter of perception. Opt to chose to be happy, Happiness is a choice. In any given situation, whether goor or bad, you should choose to see the positive side of things. There will always be something positive. It takes practice to be able to do this, but many people have proven that it is indeed true. What about you? Are you alone this Christmas? Are you happy being alone? or are you depressed being alone? The choice is yours. Merrh Christmas!

What a post - and what an analysis. I'm amazed to watch volume of depth you pour into any discussion. Yeah. At times we like to stay alone - may be due to option, or compulsion. But I don't really feel great staying alone on any big celebration day. Christmas is no different. So, I'm be happy to spend my time with the other members of my family, my niece and others.
The point you have mentioned, happiness is a choice, I really liked. At times I really feel lonely, and go blue. But I feel it involves more to mental state than anything else. You are as happy as you feel.
Anyway, Merry Christmas.
