Virginia passes constitutional ban on gay marriage

I think this is the new civil rights movement and, as a resident of Virginia, I'm sort of ashamed to live here. But it gives me something to fight for. What do you think?

Sad, I really don't have a problem with Gay marriages but I also feel you marry in the heart not buy what the state or government allows.

My condolences on your backwards state. It must be terrible to realize a majority of those who voted there are ignorant. Education is a slow process; do what you can. Stay strong.
