Were you stranded or otherwise kept from seeing your family this Christmas?

I feel so sad. We had planned to go visit my grandsons, who I haven't seen in one whole year! The weather got bad and then I got sick, and then my husband got sick! I have tried to make it a happy Christmas, but my spirit just isn't in it. Maybe tomorrow will be better. We are going to a friends house for dinner. I wrote a poem as a parody on the night before Christmas and made my grandchildren be reindeer helping Santa. First , in the poem they came to see us. I called them and read it to them. It said "on James, on Daniel, on Nathan and Nicholas. The other reindeers names were really ridiculous!" What do you do to try to make a sad thing into a good one?

too bad for you, getnbuy. you still have time though to make up for it. it is still so many days till the new year give us that big bang. go ahead and take that trip. it is always among our happiest moments whenever we get close, so really close to the people we love. good luck and i hope to see that post coming up as per the result of your visit to your love ones.
