no, not at all. i really dont get why they would do pinoy versions of these series that i love, they're fine as they are. meteor garden? oh c'mon, who would they get to play f4? depressing.

no, not at all. i see no point in watching tv shows which i have seen before. be they been shown dubbed in english or tagalog. why watch a thing which i have already watched before. i do not get the logic behind giving people a tv show to savor presented to us to be our own, when in fact, it is never ours. gameshows are on a different level. it is these telenovelas which baffle me. why produce a remake of it philippine style? it is as though we did not enjoy them enough when we had a first glance at them, dubbed in pilipino. that should be enough. this is the reason why you cannot make me watch betty la fea and marimar, to cite some examples.

im not excited either.. why just can't our local entertainment do such shows that are originally made by us filipinos? our very own concepts. I think that is more interesting.. Not just by doing copycuts from foriegn countries or trying to make those remakes or the filipino versions.

I think you got it wrong. Its KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual in "Lovers in Paris", Angelica Panganiban and Diether Ocampo in "Rubi" (if you can still remember that mexican telenovela). I dont know about princess hours and meteor garden. abs cbn has a tagalog new telenovela coming this 2009 also, its buhay ng buhay ko with Angel Locsin and Sam Milby. Ive seen in youtube the trailer of those telenovelas.

Way back before, i always get excited on tv stations making their own versions of any foreign shows, but since i'm not convince on past remake versions, i stop being excited. .lol! Now i'm getting irritated!
