A miracle had just taken place,a wonderful news indeed.
The article revealed how a 14 year old daughter of Colleen Banton, from Charlotte, North Carolina, was facing the agonising decision of taking her daughter off a life-support machine when the 'miracle' occurred.
As friends and family gathered to say their final goodbyes, Mrs Banton was alerted to an unusual bright light by a nurse.
'On the monitor, there was this bright light,' she said. 'And I looked at it and I said, "Oh my goodness! It looks like an angel!"'
A first attempt at capturing the image with a digital camera was unsuccessful: 'The first picture wouldn't take,' she said.
The second time she succeeded, and the mother-of-two sought solace in the image while her daughter's oxygen mask was removed.
Both family and staff were stunned when Chelsea began breathing for herself.
'When they took the mask off of her, her stats went as high as they've ever been,' said Mrs Banton. 'Her color was good, and the doctors and nurses were amazed. The nurse practitioner who saw the image in the monitor said, "I've worked here 15 years, and I've never seen anything like it.'''
Two weeks later, the teenager was sent home from hospital, in time for her 15th birthday on Christmas day.
What a story indeed! Praise God and I am just moved, thrilled and happy that God is at work in such a time like this. Yet, I am wondering if you would take this as something else.
Do you think this is just another fallacy?
Do you believe that there is no such thing as angels and God?

hello, skysuccess..
thank you for sharing this wonderful message.. in this era of disbelief, it is good to be assured that God hasn't changed, He is true to His promises, He makes miracles, He is very much alive..
i do believe in angels.. we must remember that it was an angel who brought the good news to Mary.. it was an angel who spoke to Joseph in a dream what name to give the Son of God.. it was an angel who appeared to the shepherds and told them about the baby in the manger..
God hasn't changed and will never ever change.. His promises will forever remain and His power and majesty will be manifested in His own timing, in His own way. He reveals Himself for His glory, that people may know that He is alive! :)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story because I am one who does believe in angels. I also believe that the 14 year old daughter was saved by her guardian angel. I am a strong believer that each of us have our own guardian angel and that he/she is a gift or protector from God.
I find it hard to believe that there are people who do not believe in the fact that they do have a guardian angel and that he/she is from God. God exists, there is no doubt. We are tested on a daily basis from God as He placed us on this earth to take care of it and to take care of each other.
We learn not from the textbooks in our classrooms or from the television sets in our homes. What we do learn from is from our guardian angel and we learn from God. It is God who created everything, so we have to sit back and let Him do His divine work and save us like He did when He sent Jesus Christ to earth to do just this divine work.
In the Book of Genesis, in Chapter 1, Verse 26, we see that God stops speaking in the singular and begins to talk in the Plural. He talks about creating Man in Our image, instead of His image. Who is He talking with? The belief here is that He is talking with His chief angels. One being Jesus Christ and the other is not really known at this time.
The young girl was not lucky. What she experienced as did the mother was a heavenly miracle and the guardian angel appeared and acted at the right place and at the right time.
Thanks for sharing the thoughts, the picture and the article.

The bright image in the picture looks like a reflection from the glass of the monitor. I can't be sure either but it formed like an angel alright. Colleen must be at the height of a depressing emotion that kind of distorts her thinking so she thought she saw something. Well she do have the evidence but we really can't tell if it's an angel or not. But still as Christian, i believe it's a miracle whether it involves an angel or not.

I do believe in angels. Personally, my mother told me when I was still 4yrs old. My guardian angel did save me from the falling broken glasses. All falling glasses was on me but in miracle, a towel covered my face and I was laughing. Thanks to them that my face doesnt have any scar from childhood days. I do believe in them, and you must believe it too.

I must admit, cold chills ran over me as I read this post, and this has never occurred about anything I have read on the internet!
I think there are definite miracles still happening, and I do believe there is a Father in heaven and I believe in his son, Jesus Christ, as well as the Holy Ghost.

that is just fantastic.I feel that all laws of d nature cease 2 operate in an autocratic way when the Supramental Intelligence chooses 2 assert itself.
They may not operate altogether (overridden) or combine to bring off a result spectacular in terms of probability. In either case Divine Intervention is d initiating key .

Thanks for sharing. It is heartening to hear that the child got back her life and it was a miracle. It proves that God can do unbelievable.
I would believe that it was an act of God but again I shall explain this scientifically as -
Some electrical signals are produced every time heart pumps and the electrical impulse captures the impulse as lighted wave on th screen or ECG printouts. All our involuntary functions like heart pumping, breathing etc. are controlled by brain.
By hand pressing or electrical shock, tries are made to reactivate the stopped heart. If it is possible to start it may resume working normally again.
Some how this little girl was getting an abnormal electrical impulse in heart from her brain which was showing distinctly as a figure of an angel. That caused the action of outside tries to bring the heart in working condition again but was working from inside her body.

Hey skysuccess i just wanted to say thank you for posting this. It's invigorating to here discussions about God. To often i feel its a subject hushed or put under the table. I personally do believe in angels. Part of my faith is that the bible is infallible and because of this i believe that the accounts of gabriel and others are true and did indeed take place. The really interesting thing to ponder here is whether or not this particular story did in fact have an angel. I think there was an angel there. I think we all have an angel looking over us. Actually i believe that those of us called to be children of God have all the protection that is needed to keep us safe from the evil one. Thats in 1st John chapter 5, i think towards the end. One last thing that i would like to comment on is the question of whether or not angels take a visible role in todays society. Although i have never seen an angel, i do feel like i have felt the presence of the evil one, felt the oppression of his efforts in my life, but i have also felt the uplifting joy of freedom when i came to know Christ as my personal lord and savior. This joy has continued throughout my saved life.
