Yup Metal music always makes me in a better mood when I'm happy, angry etc always makes my mood better. Pratically everyone who I know hates Heavy Metal which makes it much more personal to me. The great thing about metal is that people always think that it's just noise but it can be so much more then that it can have great emotion in it and great intelligent meanings to the lyrics. I love listening to Heavy Metal(any sub -genre) when I'm in any mood it's something to pent out your anger to, something to mosh to in joy etc!!!!! Metal Up Your A**!!!

Hell yeah, sometimes when I can't seem to get out of bed. I'll blast Killswitch Engage's version of Holy Diver, or You Got Another Thing Coming by Priest and that will give me the energy to get up and go. I love metal!

I can still stand some speed metal, but most metal songs gives me a bad headache. Classical rock is still what makes me feel good, then again it could be just me getting old...

I agree, there are some heavy metal that will cause
me a headache. The heavy metal kind that filled with
too much shouting and guitar riffing is annoying sometimes.
I stay away from this kind of music. But there are some metal
music that I really enjoyed.
