and did you think they deserve it?
I used to buy everyone presents every year.But this year i did it different.
I'm always the person who spends money together with my parents while the rest doesn't help with buying presents or food for Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Also when they got the presents they fall back in their bad habits.
So i thought i'm not gonna buy presents for everyone because they don't they deserve it.Instead of presents i bought only one present for everyone.I bought an LCD tv.
My parents gave some money for it and the rest of the family too.In this way it's a useful present for all of us.And hopefully they learn from their bad habits and hopefully someone else will help next year to buy presents and food,

This Christmas I'm broke so I did not buy presents for everyone. The only things I got were those tiny homemdae bracelets with names on it and I gave to all my cousins which they will use anyway during a party before the new year.

It's a great gift giving the bracelets with names on it.The fact that you made it yourself is such a beautiful thing to do.No one can defeat a present like that.

I can't afford more.
I have to save money for other things.lol

Saving money is important these days.Especially with the crisis going on.There are many ways to give someone a present.For some people the most precious gift is just being with eachother.

Only one I bought a presant for was for my sister which she wanted the dark knight and I bought it for her on dvd but for my parents I downloaded them cds to there ipods since thats all they wanted which was still a lot of work since I had to download it.

Presents don't have to be expensive and if you're able to make your own gifts it's a good thing.
Downloading cd's is a great.The fact that you spend a lot of time downloading them means that you really care about your parents and i think it means more to them than a present.

For the first time ever, I couldn't afford to get anything for anyone. I even made my holiday cards on the computer. I hope nobody will be angry or hurt, but I'm totally broke!

I'm sorry to hear you're broke.I know it's very hard for a lot of people during this crisis.
Also here in Holland there are a lot of people who send free e-cards instead of buying cards.In this crisis you must be creative and creativity is even more beautiful than a present which has been made by someone you don't know.
If people will be angry or hurt they don't understand what christmas is about.
I think you do know the christmas spirit.
Hopefully your situation will get better.
