I love my teenagers.

My children are now teenagers and I am having the best time of my life. They have been brilliant at being trustworthy and sensible whilst still out enjoying themselves. They both mixed in great circles of friends that we were happy about them being with. Now they can drive the car but understand that we all have to share and can't afford to get them their own. They like to chauffeur me about and don't make me collect them from late parties. They get along really well together and with family and friends. They are helpful and don't answer back. I am so grateful that our perseverance has paid off so well. I wish you all the best on achieving success in raising your children and hope that they are not led astray by pressures beyond your control.

magicalmerlin, I don't know your kids but I love 'em too! Sounds like you hit pay dirt and won the raisin' kids lottery. It is gratifying to finally see the positive fruits of our labors when it comes to raising our kids. I does my heart good to hear success stories such as yours. May they continue to be responsible through their lives. Kudos!

Thanks. Yes, I am so proud of them. I just worry sometimes that they might be more than I deserve and God might want them back. So I try to appreciate them as much as possible. I don't really think anything will happen to them but, like you say, there are so many sad stories about.
